Solid Connectors
These are working great in my drip system with 1/2" Rain Bird distribution tubing (green stripe). I have no leaks, the valves function well, and no problem getting the tubing back off if I change the configuration (which was important because I have a very temporary setup atm). I haven't even needed to heat the tubing which was a blessing.I also have been using their connectors with 4x1/4" barbs with Rain Bird 1/4" distribution tubing. Those have been more difficult due to the rigid tubing I'm using, but the heat gun makes it happen. No issues there other than grunting, groaning, and arthritis. Solid connections even without reducing my water pressure much. Ordering more elbows and end caps.

Easy to install but 1/4 connector can break
Nice system for attaching quarter inch emmiters to a half inch main line. I had no leaks and good pressure on a 75 foot run. One quarter inch nipple did break off when I was pushing on the quarter inch line.

A must have
I use these for watering my garden. Second time purchasing. Love them.

Fit
They solidly capped my “1/2-inch” tubing. If you buy enough of this stuff you will learn it varies in actual diameter…

Not for US 1/2" pipe
Like the other reviews, not for US 1/2" pipe. I had to dip the pipe ends in boiling water and manhandle and crimp them in order to make the fittings work.

it stopped the leaks
The bad: Getting the collar over the 1/2 tube really hurts the hands. I know it's because we used the thick walled 1/2 tubing from Rain Bird. The good: This is the only product that stopped the leaks in my drip system. Before I put these in, I had leaks at almost every point where I directly attached the fittings from the 1/2 inch line to the 1/4 in tubing. I am so happy to have found these to solve a very frustrating problem.

Doesn't fit 1/2 inch tubing
When I tried using with Mr. Landscaper brand tubing from Lowes, the fitting would not go over the tube. I had to use a box knife to scrape inside the fitting cap to make it fit.

Too small for a standard hose
The hose connectors are a tiny bit too small to connect to a standard hose faucet. Basically makes the useless though.
