I love it because: It Is good at being Nutritional Yeast and does not pretend to be cheese or ham or chicken or some dietary magic. It tastes like FOOD rather than as some excuse. Likewise, the smell. I like the flake variety of the product rather than a powder because the appearance is more consistent and easier to measure and mix as an ingredient. You probably already know why you like nutritional yeast. Having tried several brands, this is my preference because of its consistence and very good quality. Newbies, tasting it on popcorn or such, are pleased - and get over their preconceptions about "yeast" Good food !

These are very nice flavorful big flakes! They are great quality and smell better than some I have purchased. They are sold at a great price point. The bag was solid, nice seal, but we move them to a container with a lid because we use them daily and it’s just easier. I’m ordering again not just for me, but for my 18 yo cat! She loves them too.

Good flavor and serves the purpose. Added to salads and popcorn for a cheesy flavor.

I am trying to cut back on saturated fat, carbs and calories. From everything I have read, this is a healthy nutritional supplement. It doesn't have much flavor, but there is "essence" of cheese flavor when sprinkled on air popped popcorn. I have sprinkled it in soup with no flavor change. I am having a hard time imagining it in food that is on the sweeter side - like yogurt, smoothies, etc. because of the slightly cheesy flavor. It is so expensive that I use it very sparingly. I'll probably keep using it because it makes me "think" healthy.

These flakes give a wonderful cheesy flavor and are fortified with vitamin B-12. Great for vegetarians.

Tastes great! We love sprinkled on popcorn, pasta dishes or for a cheesy taste in soups.

These are my favorite Yeast flakes. They're so light and they have a nice crunch yet they melt in your mouth. I have tried other brands and was not a fan of the bitter aftertaste but, these do not have that bitter aftertaste. I eat these by the spoonful for vitamin b, but I have also used them as a seasoning on sauteed tofu and veggies. Im a happy repeat customer.

I have been having a lot of stomach issues and my doctor concluded that I have a "leaky gut". He put me on a plant based diet and took away dairy. I am doing much better but cheese is my favorite food and I needed to find something healthy to give me that cheesy flavor. I read about nutritional yeast and was eager to try it. This is the first brand I tried and I am a bit disappointed. I don't taste much cheese favor at all. I was told that this has a grated cheese-like flavor but I don't taste it. It has a very, very light flavor with a hint of a cheese taste but I am definitely trying other brands because this doesn't satisfy my craving for a cheesy sprinkle on popcorn, pasta, and other foods. Maybe I am expecting too much but, reading the reviews, I see that brand (It's Just) is milder than other brands so I will keep looking until I find one with a bolder flavor. It'll use what I have, I suppose, but it doesn't really add much to meals and snacks.
