Logitech G403 Best Mouse of 20+ Tested
Logitech G403 Prodigy RGB Gaming Mouse - 16.8 Million Color Backlighting, 6 Programmable Buttons, Onboard Memory, Up to 12,000 DPIThe Logitech G403 wired mouse is the best yet out of over 20 that I have tested during the past couple of years. This came as a surprise, because it is somewhat smaller and lighter than my previous favorites, the Razer Deathadder Elite and Steelseries Rival 300. I was also reluctant to test this mouse, because I haven't liked the complicated designs and scroll wheels on other Logitech mice that had been highly recommended in the past. However, after seeing several favorable reviews on the keyboard forums and by Rocket Jump Ninja, I decided to give the G403 a try. I liked it instantly. It is an excellent no-nonsense mouse with a simple yet effective design that makes it suitable for the office as well as for gaming. My hands are above average in size, and the G403 fit my palm grip perfectly; moreover, I could actuate all the switches including the scroll wheel without changing my grip. The switches actuate easily with just the right amount of auditory and tactile feedback and travel. The notched scroll wheel provides excellent tactile feedback and silent operation -- a very rare combination. The shell coating is one of the best I have encountered -- there is only a very slight stickiness after extended use, whereas many other mice I have tested feel sticky or clammy within seconds of use. The subtle rubberized coating on the sides steadies the grip and facilitates picking up the mouse. The braided cable has a ferrite core near the USB connector and it comes coiled around the margins of the box rather than folded -- a nice touch to avoid kinks.Downloadable software enables setting the number of DPI levels and the sensitivity level for each, which can then be toggled with a switch just to the rear of the scroll wheel. There are two separately controlled zones of RGB LEDs (scroll wheel and logo), and within each zone the lighting is evenly distributed. There are also options for surface tuning and key press heat maps. Settings are stored in onboard memory.Dimensions (l x w x h) are 124 x 70 x 43 mm) and weight is 87g with an optional 10g weight that is held in place in the bottom rear of the mouse by strong magnets that keep the weight from rattling. My other favorite mice are larger and heavier, but the G403 feels solidly built and its lower weight facilitates movement. Aesthetically, I find the G403 handsome but not quite as elegant looking as the Razer Deathadder Elite. The G403 is not perfect, but the first one I received was better than 4 stars. I had initially given it a 5, but I revised my rating after purchasing another G403 for work -- this one had a bit of rattle in the scroll wheel, so I requested a replacement. Amazon replaced it immediately, but the replacement had a small nick in the rubberized coating on the left side of the mouse. It seems that Logitech has some inconsistency in its quality control, so I changed my rating to 4 stars. However, after using the mouse for nearly a year, I have not been tempted to go back to my previous favorites. Moreover, after recently reading a number of reviews and watching review videos, I have not seen a mouse that appears better than the Logitech G403. Therefore, I have revised my original review and increased the star rating back to 5 stars. In my opinion, there is no better mouse currently available than the Logitech G403.Logitech G403 Prodigy Gaming Mouse with High Performance Gaming Sensor

I would say this mouse feel a lot like the Zowie EC-2A
I got my unit today directly from amazon, have no problem with the mouse wheel wobble, no left right mouse click problem, no sensor rattle, no side buttons problem either. I was a bit worry because a lot of reviewer here have some problem with this mouse but maybe only the first batch tho.I would say this mouse feel a lot like the Zowie EC-2A, My hand is 19cm/10cm i am a finger tip grip person my personal top mouse is: G pro > G900 > Zowie FK2 > Zowie EC-2A -> G502 -> Deathadder. Those are mice i have used so far. This G403 is best for palm grip but somehow it doesn't dictate how you grip the mouse like the Zowie EC series, i can switch from palm to fingertip easily for example: for FPS i use low sensitivity and i move my arm a lot so i use palm grip that i can make rapid movement, but for League of Legends i switch to higher dpi where i use fingertip grip to make quick precise small mouse movement like kiting or cs .....The mouse material is really nice and smooth, the rubber on both size of the mouse feel amazing, during intensive or long period game time my hand tend to sweat a lot but it doesn't make the mouse slippery at all unlike the G pro.The mouse cable is braided and thick, but i have no trouble dealing with them as they are rolled up in the box nicely and doesn't form a ziczac patern. A big mouse pad and a glossy surface table will help.Great mouse would recommend it to anyone who have medium/ big hand size for palm and claw grip, or small hand size for palm grip. There is also some issue with quality control like mouse click and wheel problem but it seem like they got a bad unit tho because mine is perfect.

Very happy with purchase, Great FPS mouse
1) Package arrived in great shape. It was in a amazon bubble wrap bag.2) Logitech does a great job with presentation. The nice thinnish braided cord was wrapped around the mouse instead of all bunched together with twisty tie.3) Easy to download software. Just search G403 software on google. It was the first link.4) I decided to put the 10g weight inside mouse. Mouse weights roughly 90g without weight. Mouse feels super great in hand. I have large meaty paws. 19cm finger to edge of palm, and 11cm from pinky knuckle to thumb. I can palm this bad boy, claw grip or sometimes I do fingertip. It works extremely well.5) Everything on the mouse is in working condition. Clicks sound super nice. Clicks feel really good. I personally love the scroll wheel. The texture of this mouse is awesome to. Top is a smooth plastic good texture finish and both sides has imo great rubber texture that keeps my thumb, ring finger, pinky in place the whole time.If you are hesitant on buying don’t be. I’ve played with many mouses (DeathAdder, EC2A, Coolermaster MM520, M65 Elite, Corsair Ironclaw, G pro(badass mouse too), G502, G602, and a couple more)And lastly, Watch Rocket Ninja Jump on YouTube. He personally does honest reviews. He has a top 40 mouse list. Again, there’s tons of mice that will fit wonderfully in hand, and so far the G403 is my perfect fit.I’ll come back to the review in the furture, to update on any issues. 7-18-19 2:30am
