My shoe size is normally size 7, but after seeing some reviewers on here mention the shoes fitting tightly, I went for a half size up at 7.5, and they are a very snug and perfect fit on me. The size 7 would have definitely been too small on me length-wise.My feet are slightly on the wider side, but not so much that I tend to need wide width shoes, and these fit me well. I’m not sure how well they would work for wide feet if you are someone who typically requires wide width shoes, so keep that in mind.Canvas shoes are not considered stretchy, they will form to your feet a bit over time, but generally you’ll want them to fit you right out of the box - ideally they will be snug like a pair of socks, but still not uncomfortably tight or restricting.I like that the elastics on these shoes are already sewn on, and their placement works well for me.I’ve ordered 3 different colors and the quality is consistent between the pairs. The shade of pink is on the warmer side for the pink shoes and, for me, this matches my skin tone nicely and isn’t obnoxiously-pink.I have worn split sole canvas ballet shoes for years, they have always been my preference because they are lightweight, more breathable and less sticky than leather, and they are easy to throw in the wash. This is my first time trying this brand, so far I’m pleased with the quality for the price, and I’m eager to see how long they’ll last.If I were to run into any major issues, then I’d come back to edit my review. But in the meantime, as of now, I have no complaints. I give them 5 stars, I just recommend going a half size up from your street shoe size for the correct fit.

These are great! The canvas is supple enough for the shoes to really form-fit to my feet, and the sizing is as expected.

I picked these up based on the reviews for a new pair of ballet shoes. I was definitely intrigued by the canvas shoes as I have always used leather. I am not a fan. They do fit small, but that is common with ballet shoes. However, the canvas is a very tight canvas with ZERO stretch to it. It felt like my foot was bound up in it, and I do not think that it will stretch with time either. The knit is just too tight. They are also not breathable at all. I wore them in my house for about 15 minutes (half of that sitting down), and my feet were already sweating. Not the best thing for dance shoes. Also the two pads on the bottom are not placed quite right and started hurting my feet within minutes. On the positive side of these... the are well made. The stitching is tight and I believe that they will last quite a while. Make sure to size up one size. I wear a 9 in street shoes, and after reading the reviews decided to go true to size, and they were a bit tight. They do however work fabulously for wider feet. The overall feel of the shoe itself is great though. I'm glad it has the ties unlike some other ones so you can customize it to your foot. The bunched toe in canvas is a slight bit off-putting though. All in all, I would recommend them to someone looking for a hard canvas ballet shoe that knows that they will not stretch like the leather ones.

These shoes held up to a full rehearsal schedule and run of a fairly dance intensive show. The sole was a little small due to the size of the shoe (US 11), but that didn't impede any part of the choreography. They need replaced before the next show, but the will be replaced with more of the same. These shoes far exceeded expectations for the price point.

Sized down for better fit

I bought a pair of these last year and they fit perfect (true to my shoe size, which is nice since ballet shoes are often their own, screwy sizing system). The material is thin, which makes them comfortable and faster to break in, but they also don't last very long. Once I wore them out with several holes (didn't take long), I bought a pair of Bloch shoes that were super disappointing and uncomfortable, so I came back and bought another pair of these. I got the same size, but this pair isn't sized like the pair I got last year. They fit alright on the toes/heels, but the shoe is really baggy on top, even when I pull the strings tight. This is odd since I have high arches and wide feet--normally ballet shoes are tight on top of my feet. I only expect them to last a couple months (taking two hour ballet classes three times per week), but for the cheap price they are probably worth the investment. If you need a sturdy shoe to last you a long time, I recommend paying more money to a better brand.

Kept their shape & looked good until my granddaughter out grew them!! Great quality

My daughter took ballet as an elective course at college. She is by no means a pro - so these suited her needs perfectly. They fit her foot, did what they needed for the semester, held up well enough for her to use them next semester as well. I cannot say how these would work for a TRUE ballerina, but for a college kid taking ballet as a fun elective, they were perfect!

A nice pink canvas ballet slipper that won't break the bank! The local dance shop didn't have my daughter's size in stock for the Bloch ballet slippers, and she needed them right away. We took our chances on these ones and they fit her perfectly. She likes the soft pink colour as well. Very happy with them.

Están bien mitad, con resortes cruzados. Pedí el número correcto que generalmente uso pero me apretaron y terminé regresando las. :(

My granddaughter was very happy with product. We weren't shore we could get a pair to fit her size 8 feet.
