Pillage of Hope: A Family History from the Trail of Tears, Slavery, Segregation, the 1921 Race Massacre and Beyond Paperback – 31 May 2021

I read this story because I have a book on Amazon about the same subject. Mine is historical fiction, Holocaust in the Homeland. It is being made into a movie by Zak Kilberg and I wanted to hear the story from Ross's perspective. It is very informative and helps an audience to understand what happened in Tulsa in 1921. It also has very interesting historical information on the Native Americans who came to Oklahoma on the Trail of Tears. Understanding Ross's perspective helped me to understand the feelings of the citizens of Black Wall Street. This is an epic tragedy that far too many people know nothing about. I highly recommend reading this book. Ross is a hero in his own time. Thank you Rep. Ross!
