For a temporary cut on your scalp, use a cotton bud and apply it only on the small area. You might have some issue with your hair being more oily while using it, but if you can put a small bandage over it that would help. However if you're going to use it long term, while it shouldn't actually damage your hair, it will definitely make it more oily. **Q: Has anyone used this on there mastectomy scars or does any one know know something good for a double mastectomy scars?** A: I've never had a mastectomy, but I've used it on other small scars. However, it works better to prevent a scar rather than remove one. In any case it won't damage a scar.
