Can't beat it for the price
Worked great for what I needed it. I didnt use the clear hose and I added another bolt/support to the lowe frame. Can't beat it for the price. Was $2 cheaper here shipped than it was driving to the auto parts store 30 miles from my house. Cheaper and easier than making my own overflow tank

Worked just fine
Worked out very well so far. Fit where the old one use to be. Didn't use the frame that was supplied. The connections were different from my old one - perhaps this is the newer style.

This is a decent universal kit
Not bad for the price; however I opted to use soft copper tubing instead of the provided vinyl tube between the radiator and lower tank bung, then used the provided vinyl on the top overflow connector. The instructions say to get it as high as the hood allows (really it should be as high as the top of the radiator), but on my old Ford truck this isn't really an option.I managed to gain some extra height and utilize the contoured mounting surface by carefully bending one of the mounting brackets downward about 90 degrees (see pictures). I expected the thing to break, however it wasn't brittle, didn't break, and still seems plenty sturdy. Overall I am happy with this purchase. :-)

Perfect little overflow bottle
I just installed this in my 60's classic car, where no overflow existed. This bolted right in and looks great. I've seen some reviewers mention the hose and clamps are not good enough. I believe they're wrong. First, this is a no pressure, overflow, meaning the hose and clamps wont see anymore pressure when the engine is running vs shut off. Secondly, the hose clamps fit VERY snug also anyway. I had to use some lubricate to help me slide them on without hurting or breaking anything. In this kind of low pressure application, these style hose clamps are more than acceptable. The hose looks fine also. Thick, clear plastic tubing. I don't expect any failures anytime soon. This looks good installed by the factory plastic washer fluid reservoir and kinda looks like it could have come from the factory with this too. It doesn't look out of place, even with a painted and highly detailed, full dressed in polished aluminum accessories 429ci sitting there. It's not an attractive piece, just functional. It doesn't distract either though, just like the washer fluid. Now I wont just loose coolant on the ground every time I shut the engine down, and risk the system getting low. So silly how they used to have no overflow catch cans back in the day. A must add on for any classic car without one. Great value for the money. As a side note, I like dormans small version also. Installed one on my wood chipper many years ago. It's been working great since also. I don't like everything made by this brand, but the majority of things I found acceptable. When it comes to their overflow tanks though, there's no need to spend anymore on something else. These will do the job and last for many issue free years. I expect at least a decade out of this, and will probably get two or even more.

Practical upgrade for my classic
My 1960s classic car was not built with an overflow tank. As a result, it would puke a little bit of antifreeze on my garage floor after driving on the hottest days of summer. It wasn't overheating; that's just how the old system worked. I easily installed this tank in an evening, and now there is no more mess on my floor. An added benefit is that my car now runs a little cooler because the radiator is always completely full. A closed system is better for the environment, too. It isn't "concours" correct, but it's easily removed, and the two screw holes aren't noticeable.
