Good looking still!
Only 2 additions I could see. A cap for the 2.5 inch outlet, to attach an airlock, or some other way to ferment and distill in the same pot.

Great product - Glad to have purchased it
First of all, I must say this is an incredibly beautiful piece of equipment (I purchased the 5.8 gallon) and I'm glad I purchased it. I wanted to leave a fairly detailed review because it's a hefty price and I was sceptical since there were no reviews I was able to reference. Just for background, you can probably call me a begginer, but have an alright head on my shoulders and a good sense for improvisation. This product came just as shown; it included all those little extra gifts it talks about. It was truly amazing how the fit it all into the size of packaging that they did.If you're someone that needs setup instructions, let me just say there may as well not be any--that is, the 'instructions' arent very instructive and are mostly in chinese; I did, however, appreciate the diagram they included demonstrating two different ways to setup your pump system. My only true criticism I cant blame on user error, is that the drip spout is right over the top of the lid--not a big problem, in the photo you should be able to see how I just mounted a small copper pipe to remedy that. So a quick fix with a trip to Lowe's or Home Depot for pipe and/or tubing.A mild irritant, only even worth mention because the price paid, pertains to the hoses. I didnt much like the way you have to cram the included hoses in such a tight space (like I said, mild irritant; can also be remedied with a trip to Lowe's). I also experienced a leak (which I noticed the manual/pamphlet said may occur around or above 80 C)--it was really more of a small drip and it only occurred on the inlet on the reflux column, easily and quickly countered by wrapping a rag around it.Unfortunately I cant speak on the pump I received, because I used a different one I already had that was more powerful; mine worked fine, but may be more than really needed and I'll probably switch to the one I was sent.I'm ashamed to admit it, but due to user error, I managed to break my needle valve--I'm just one of those people that likes to wrench things to the point they break, so its probably more on me than any kind of critical manufacturing defect. Besides, I found that I could get a 5 pack of identical needle valves for around $13.I'd also like to add (for anyone that may be new to this like I was) to just remember to clean equipment thoroughly before use--ideally, you should probably do a vinegar run. I neglected performing a vinegar run out of eagerness and just did deep a deep clean by hand washing thinking it would suffice. I dont wish to speak on the atrocious results.Summing it all up--this is a great and beautiful piece of equipment. No major complaints. Any issue I've experienced can be handled quickly and cheaply by going to Lowe's. I'm extremely satisfied with the purchase and am glad I can be the first to leave written feedback.

Wow!
I'll begin to say I am just getting into distillation but have an engineering degree and appreciate quality and value...this still has both in spades! I took a gamble as there were few reviews and ordered the still. My expectation have been exceeded in every way. This still is a beast and grossly under priced. The column pieces are industrial grade and the kettle itself seems substantial. I have attached pictures of the assembled still, python segment, bubbler plate, and bubbler plate in python tower. My only hesitation with this still is the bubbler plates sit between the python segments so not sure what viewing will be possible which is very important with a reflux still. Having said that and not running the still yet my concerns may be completely unwarranted. Comes with accurate temp (C) gages and all hoses necessary for operation..I do plan on cutting a hole in the bottom of the kettle and installing a 1" NPT coupling to accept a 2000W heating coil before operating...don't like the idea of an open flame and volatile vapors.I've heard of cheap Chinese...but this thing is like it was built in Germany, a quality piece!Ran some water through the still to clean after installing a 2000W internal element. You could clearly see the vapors "dancing" in the python tower windows. Love this still!Added an internal heating element port and 2000W heater controlled with a PWM...fantastic!

Beautiful, and worked well for the first round...
I have used it twice so far, but went to use it today and noticed two small pinholes in the bottom on the outside that were leaking my sugar wash all over the floor. I checked the inside of the pot to find a small pinhole. It's very odd to me because they don't have jagged edges or anything, just perfect pinholes. I honestly don't know what to do about it, because although it's a beautiful piece of machinery, all its good for now is as an art piece in the corner. The holes are in the same spots it looks like on the inside and outside.

Still works great, watch some youtube videos to operate.
I bought this as my first still and had an experienced distiller help me run my first batch. He was impressed with the quality and operation. I did move to clear tubing and a water flow valve that had more of a fine adjustment. Other than that it worked great. Be sure to do a cleaning run and have citric acid available to clean the copper parts after your first few runs. You will need a gas burner or a 220v hot plate. A 110v hot plate was too slow to heat a full patch.

Induction heating DOES NOT work
I've tried a couple of units with no luck. Just not strong enough for the pad to pick up. Just purchased a new heating pad and the pan that came with it, works just fine. I would make sure you have enough clearance on the stove if you wish to use this without purchasing an expensive heating system.

Make sure you check that you received all parts
During unpacking I discovered that one of the essential gaskets was missingI received extra gaskets for one of the connections but only had 1 gasket for the glass to flange connection (it takes 2)This will delay my process by a week or longer

Great
Excellent product and customer service. It showed up missing a part but I emailed the seller and they got back to me within an hour, and the part is on it's way. Also, this thing is a beast, fun project!
