Rome PopOut Map (PopOut Maps)

I already had one of these for Paris and loved it, so I decided to buy the same for Rome, Florence, and Venice. Very descriptive and easy to find the location where I'll be staying and the sites that I'll be visiting. It has a street index and a list of the most popular sites for easy planning. Yes, I can pull up a map on my phone but I don't necessarily want to have my phone out when trying to find my way around the city. Small to easily fit in a pocket or bag but the maps open up to a good size to easily find your way around. Highly recommend and would buy again! I was also looking for the pop-out map for Naples but unfortunately it's out of print.

I love these maps, and buy them for every city I've visited, if they are available. The transit maps on the back, to zooming in on the more touristy sections, is exactly what I needs. Not all streets are listed, but that's to be expected. I do wish there were more cities, like Reykjavik, Bergen Norway.

Very nice addition for your daytime travel accessory bag. Helps guide you through all the streets and passways. Your phone GPS is fine but this is great for pre- travel and planning your sightseeing in your hotel.

We've used them so far for Oslo, Cophenhagen and now Rome. Yes, maps are 'old school' now, but honestly, this is way better than any mapping app and it's useful for planning your day as well.

I like the maps and information but I wish they had an English version... you can figure out the major attractions but I find myself going back to Rick Steve's maps and descriptions.

So easy to pack and carry around when sight seeing. Has more places on it than we realized. Good find for us

Getting ready to tour rome

I use these for every European city to which I travel. They fold up small and include easy-to-understand information about available public transit.

It was just as I wanted a pocket map for my tour of Rome will fit in my top shirt pocket great.

These are invaluable and I now buy a pop out map for each major city break. Small enough to fit in your pocket and discreet enough when you need to find out where to go next and don’t want to stand out as a tourist.All major sites are included as well as a metro map.

Used these excellent maps before and the Rone one was as invaluable as my New York one! Highly recommended.

Unfortunately we had postpone our trip to Rome until later in the year to try out this book. But all the previous books have been very good.

Used this on a week long trip to Rome. Was really good to have in your pocket, so easy to use and clear. Avoids looking too much like a tourist as it’s not very big.
