**Q: I am looking to buy golden castor sugar for baking that we use in Ireland    Is this the American version?**
A: The brown sugars in the U.S. are made with molasses and white sugar. I’ve actually made my own when I’ve been out of brown sugar.  I’m not sure if this is the Irish equivalent but I never use any other brown sugar. Domino’s is the best. There is also a dark brown version but I always use the light brown. Hope this helps.

**Q: Does in need to be stored in the refrigerator??**
A: I have never stored brown sugar in the refrigerator.  The most important thing is to make sure the bag is tightly wrapped once it is opened.
