Just like the curry sauce I love with the Irish chips at our local Irish restaurant. Easy to make - just add water and simmer a while. Perfect on French fries and fried chicken strips. This one's a winner. Tub makes a LOT, but you'll be happy you have that much once you taste it, and a little goes a long way. Not too spicy or hot - just the right amount of "kick it up a notch" flavor. Given the flavor and texture match, I'd not be surprised to find out that this is what our local Irish Pub/Restaurant uses for their authentic curry Irish chips and their Irish Spice Bag. Review: Just like the local chippy back home in England - Great curry powder, very versatile . I used it with my Fish and Chips. One 250g tub makes 1 litre of sauce when mixed with water. Full instructions for making the sauce are on the side of the tub. Hope this helps! **Q: How long does this keep after it's opened?** A: Hi Mikie! Once the inner foil seal is opened, the manufacturer recommends that you store in a cool dry place and always replace the red plastic lid tightly on the container after use. If you follow these guidelines, your curry sauce mix should be good until the expiration date which is usually over 12 months after ordering! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great taste, easy to make, as good as you've had with fries at the Irish restaurant. *by R***H on September 21, 2026* Delicious! Truly love it. *by J***H on April 7, 2026* Greay flavor and well worth the money. Also very easy to make! Has a bit of spicy to it but really it's the perfect amount. The smell when you are making it is amazing and very comforting. Thickness is perfect for dipping or coating. ## Frequently Bought Together - McDonnells Curry Sauce 1L Tub 200g (7oz) - 2 sachets of McDonnells Spice Bag Classic Flavour Seasoning Mix 40g each - McDonnells Hot Curry Sauce 1L Tub 200g (7oz) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ph/products/33492693-curry-sauce-1l-tub-200g-7oz](https://www.desertcart.ph/products/33492693-curry-sauce-1l-tub-200g-7oz) --- *Product available on Desertcart Philippines* *Store origin: PH* *Last updated: 2026-10-26*
