I love love love these.The inseam has good length and does not ride up.The fabric is super soft and makes me feel fresh and cool.Perfect to wear under skirts and dresses.Keeps private areas dry and prevent my thick legs to burn together from rubbing when I walk. I am posting lots of pictures. I ordered 4X. I am 5'4" 39 inch waist 49 inch hips, thick thighs and a big behind! These are GREAT. I only wish they weren't so expensive so that I can order a bunch more!!!! :-)

I had been searching for a ladies' version of men's boxer briefs, especially for the summer, to wear under leggings and skirts. I bought these bloomers last year hoping they would end my search. I tried one, was disappointed, put the rest away, and just found them again today. I decided to write a review to tell you why. In today's fashion (leggings and tight pants), I want to avoid muffin tops and panty lines; hence a boxer-type underwear was my quest. So how did this bloomer fare? First of all, the legs don't lie flat; they bunch up because they're loose. Under leggings, that's just not good, and under skirts, a feel a bit, well, "exposed". So okay, that's not too bad - perhaps that's the way they're designed. The part that I really did not like was that the seam goes right down the middle of the bloomer, into your crotch, stops at a narrow gusset, then goes up again on the back side. The narrow gusset in the crotch area goes across to the legs, rather than along the crotch. Therefore, the seam edge (which doesn't lie flat) gets really annoying as you walk or sweat, because that seam gets into the worst places. I always wear liners, but the seam still managed to ride up. Perhaps these bloomers were meant to be worn with a panty underneath, but since that wasn't the solution I was looking for, this product did not fit my requirements.

I chose these for 2 reasons: 1. they looked like they would work for a “high waist.” I am & they do. They are NOT cut low to save $ on production.2. The 8” inseam was important to me so they would NOT creep up my legs: so far, so good ! I was very happily surprised by the far too common intersecting crotch seams being replaced by a gusset ! Will someone PLEASE THANK the Designer ?!!! I have only one criticism of the bloomers. The inside of the waist band feels rough to me. That would be the only feature I would change.

I bought these for use as a very loose fitting "panty" to go under my nightgown/pajamas. The leg length is pretty much as pictured (& as described), which is what I wanted. Even though they are 100% cotton (and NOT the paper-thin kind as some underwear is), they did not shrink a whole lot (like some cottons do) but you can expect some small degree of shrinkage. The sizing description is somewhat confusing. I bought the size to fit 49"-50" hips, which ordinarily might be an XL or maybe 1X. However, the size I had to order to get them to fit was called a 5X (not very good for my ego, lol!). So make sure you measure your hips and get the corresponding HIP size...not "XL" rating, for example. My only real complaint with the actual fit is that the belly area is a little bigger than expected so the front pulls up higher on my waist than the back does (no big deal, though...at least it's loose and comfy!). There is no ride up in the front or back, however, there is an odd design I've never seen in a panty before: Instead of the crotch lining going front to back, it goes from side to side (weird, right?). It appears as though it was designed this way because all of the seams fit together as they should. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase, so much so that I did end up ordering more.

Pros: they are cotton...very thin fabric...comfortable to wear under loose flowing dresses or skirts.. they stretch... great for sleeping...hits mid thigh so can be used as a pettipants slip... seams are not that uncomfortable since the fabric is very thin..and has a wide band that runs horizontal for crotch and inner thigh comfort. Cons: very thin fabric so seams need reinforcing as it splits easily. Due to thin fabric it stretches easily around thighs and they wind up as loose shorts and would bunch up under pants or tight dresses. Buy true to your size since it will stretch. I recommend hand wash and air dry only.

I like the fabric. I've been searching for cotton knit boxers for a while and they are very hard to find in plus sizes. So the fabric is soft and nice. Even though I ordered a size larger than needed, the back still rides very low across the bum while the front sits almost up to my bra line. Not sure what body type these are intended to fit; maybe only persons with a very flat butt. Also, the tag is sewn into the back seam 1.5 inches down from the waistband (photo), putting it in that perfect area of annoyance. And you can't remove it easily because of the way it's stitched into the seam. Even cutting it close still leaves a scratch end in the seam. To remove completely would require undoing the seam and resewing. And that doesn't resolve the problem with the back waistband riding low in the back anyway. Won't buy again.

Finally received this item on Dec 18th when it was supposed to be here Nov 7th. Was a great hassle getting these and we were called twice to see if these were still wanted when I had written several time to please still send them! These were for my elderly 90 year Mother. For the price She is VERY disappointed. The design is terrible. They don't even have a gusset. Virtually ALL elderly women, and they are the only ones who would want to wear these - need a small protection pad in their undies. Without a Gusset not much room for this. At $69.00 for 3 pair of these flimsy under panties, it's really a surprise they are not better quality and better designed..

This last batch received in December 2019 certainly IS NOT 100% cotton !!There IS polyester or some other material involved : too much stretch and give in the material, and cotton does NOT make me sweat and itch !!

So comfortable! I wore them as an extra layer for warmth when long underwear too hot. Legs did not bind, and have washed a few times with no shrinking. Soft and warm.
