Bought 5 total to record a clip of my dad's voice for each family member after he passed. 1 worked fabulous, 3 worked OK but were harder to press, and one did not work at all and I exchanged it. It does take 3 batteries which aren't included and you'll need a tiny screwdriver to get inside so it's not ready to go out of the box.GOOD: the recording length is good. Most are 30 seconds so this allows up to 2 minutes which is great. It's fairly easy to use and I like the lock feature. I bought it because it comes in purple, my dad's favorite color.BAD: some worked and some didn't. It makes a click sound when you press it which gets captured at the beginning and end of your recording. There is also a slight static hum even when you record in a totally silent room. Not the greatest audio quality, especially if you're recording off another device, but recognizable enough. Sort of sounds like an old answering machine tape.

My 1 year old grandson loves this, my son used to sing him to sleep every night, but my son had an accident recently and was taken from us. I had fortunately recorded him singing to my grandson one evening and was able to purchase this item, record the vocals from my phone and then sew into a stuffed animal. My sweet grandson drags his “coocoo”around with him everywhere. It was very simple to record and the instructions were basic and easy to follow.

Very durable good sounding device. Neice loved hearing her cousins sing to her when they were at school. A little larger than I thought it would be but still able to fit into toy.

I liked that it was 2 minutes long not just 30 seconds.My granddaughters (my son) dad passed away. She us really missing him. So I recorded his voice from a vacation video where they were their happiest. I put it on a teddy bear snd and I’m going to give it to her for her birthday.

I researched and found this product to be the most suitable, yet once opened and supplied with the best quality brand new batteries, following instructions clearly the product did not work. I tried contacting the seller and they immediately sent me back to amazon. extremely disappointed with this experience.

I ordered these to record messages for my children while we are apart for 3 months. 2 out of the 3 were defective. Only one child got to go home with one. One of the hearts had someone else’s message on it and couldn’t be recorded over. My kids were heartbroken.
