Good quality clippers
I have two toy poodles which sleep on my bed so I like to groom ( bath and clip) every two weeks.I purchased these clippers as they are light weight for my hand as I have a little arthritis. My old clippers are heavy and have a wire. I wish I had bought these years ago as they are great to use as they are cordless.

I just want to leave this review for people who haven't used good clippers before. Background info... I was a groomer for over a decade. The first place I worked had an Arco for trimming feet and potty trail. I've wanted to pick one up ever since then, just for quick use at home, but hadn't gotten around to it. For reference, I typically used Andis AGC2 clippers (which are corded) professionally, and those are a wonderful option for only about $25 more than these. If you have the option of a corded clipper, I highly recommend them, just make sure you don't bend the base of the cord during storage.I picked these up because I have horses, and a major issue with sticker plants in my pastures. I recently got a baby horse, and she was getting stickers in her mane, and I didn't want to have to upset her by pulling them all out, so I bought one of these just to run over her mane so she doesn't get stickers. I could give the clippers a pass if this was an adult horse, because their mane hair is quite a bit thicker. But a baby has a very fine, and thin mane. With great effort I got these clippers through about three inches at the base of her mane, and then scissored the rest off. They constantly caught hair (between the blades), because they just aren't powerful enough (which also pulled on her, so now I will have to do some desensitizing to clippers). If you are using them on a small animal, with fine hair, that is clean, you may be able to use them. But for anything out of those ideal circumstances, they just aren't good enough. It's disappointing, because the older Arco's were wonderful for a relatively inexpensive, cordless clipper for small jobs. But the quality has gone downhill. I am returning these. I picked up a barely used cordless Laube on eBay for less than these were.Side advice... check eBay, or other used markets, for used clippers! Lots of people buy them and realize that they don't know what they are doing, and then sell them for a fraction of the new cost. I've never bought NEW clippers for work. My last set were a Craigslist purchase for $20, for a barely used set that retail for a little over $150. The only reason I bought these new, is because I wanted to get them quickly to get the baby's mane trimmed.

Best clippers ever!
I love these clippers and so does my Schnauzer! They're easy to use, light, flexible, fits hand nicely, quiet.I can pick them up anytime and do a little grooming and she doesn't mind. The double battery set makes it so easy when I forget to take it out.I am thrilled.

AWESOME!!!
I purchased these to clip one of my cats who has long thick hair that mats up easily. This cat hates combs, brushes and scissors. I've had to fight with her for years to try and keep the mats out by brushing her. I would get a couple of passes with a brush or comb and that was it. Scissors, which really isn't a good idea to be using, but I was careful not to cut her, one look at them and she was gone. Short of taking her to the vet or groomer to have her sedated and then shaved, I decided to give these a try. BOY am I glad I did. I got most of her body clipped in one sitting and she was PURRING!! She did tire of it, but hey the important parts got done. These clippers are light and easy to use, make very little noise. My cat is also scared of the vacuum cleaner, but wasn't of the these clippers. They vibrate but she enjoyed her mini massage while I clipped her matted fur! Perfect! Less stress for her and me. Have a bit more to do on her tail and lower sides but for the first time she did really well. These clippers come with TWO battery packs which is awesome. Highly recommend these clippers for cats!!
