Complete kit with everything you need for factory-quality results
I purchased this pigtail (PT2782) to replace the OEM crank position sensor pigtail on my 1999 GMC K1500 Suburban (GMT400 body, L31 Vortec 350 V8). The kit has the three pin plug, with three wires cut at 16.5" from the back of the plug to the end of the wire (that was what mine measured, it may vary slightly but it is more than enough to cut out any damaged wire and still have plenty to splice in). It also came with three crimp and heat shrink butt connectors (I didn't check the wire gauge, but the connectors are for 14-16 gauge wire). It makes for an easy and clean install. I tinned the wires after stripping them and then used the fine point of my soldering iron to heat it back up after crimping, just to make sure I had a good connection, but this was overkill (I also used another sleeve of heat shrink tubing over the connector after I heated it; I haven't used these type of butt connectors before and was prepared to solder and heat shrink the connection, in hindsight the connector is made to do this for you and be easier for someone who isn't familiar with soldering - if you have a soldering iron use the wide wedge to heat the connector after it's crimped, otherwise you may be able to do it with a heat gun if you can get it hot enough). Overall, it is an excellent, OEM-quality kit that will give you very high quality results if you take your time and follow the directions. I always recommend using OEM parts for whatever brand vehicle you are working on, and this kit is a good example of why.

Worked perfectly.
Ease of install really depends on your skill level, I used this to replace the faulty connector on the crank sensor on my 99 suburban, Iโd recommend using good crimpers for the supplied butt connectors so you donโt damage the heat shrink
