It's just not functional, do not buy this product
Trusted the reviews on amazon, but anyway its not working. Can see the power go in through the blue light, but my DAW is not able to read any midi signal

Works flawlessly.
No need to install drivers, just plug it in with your instrument, PC or instruments, and play.

Cheap and does the job
I use this cable to send MIDI instructions from DAW software installed on my PC to Digitech Whammy 4 pedal and it seems to work very good. Need to connect cable MIDI OUT into Whammy MIDI IN. No PC drivers required. Studio One software recognized it immediately. Cable quality is acceptable. Hopefully it will last for long.

Works with my Korg Volca FM 2 & Apple M1 Mac Mini, in Logic (I’d guess therefore with Garageband) and with Synthmata on Chrome using web midi.
