Sleek and sturdy in daily use
For my Nth phone case, I gambled with UAG to see if quality scaled with price - I am not disappointed 2 months into daily use.I love the feel of the closing action, the black textured, sleek design - this case boosts my confidence every day. At first the closing action was stiff with 2 credit cards and ID, but it relaxed and closes easily. Sometimes I absent mindedly play with the magnetic clasp, opening and closing it!The case is a thin shell so it is thin in places - I expected more wear and I was wrong. The materials, adhesives. and stitching are holding. I haven't dropped my phone yet, so no comment on it's protection. I want to see if the closing action will last for more than 6 months, I am very impressed so far.Nice work UAG!

This is a great case. The case itself not only is stylish
This is a great case. The case itself not only is stylish, but functional. It has room for an ID card or credit card on the backside of the cover. It's not slippery like other cases and very lightweight. I was a bit skeptical about having to wirelessly charge my iPhone 8, but lo and behold, it charges! The front cover magnetically closes which is great. That means no more accidental calling or accidentally launching an app while the phone is in my pocket.Great product. You won't be disappointed.

No hinges to break on the metropolis.
I just received it. There are no hinges on this case as the front flap is sewn into the back of the case. They must have made improvements to the design. There’s not much to the case, it’s very lightweight and thin. I think that’s a bonus but time will tell if it proves to be durable and protective. I have an iPhone 8 with a glass screen protector. The sides of the case come up just even with the screen. Hopefully this is enough coverage to prevent any screen damage. I like that the phone front is covered when the flap is closed. The case has a nice rubbery grip to it. The flap has a magnetic flat closure. I’ll update after several weeks of use.

Durable and sleek case for pocket-phoner people
Likes: slim profile, rugged, well made, good grip, looks sharp. In the short 2 weeks I’ve had it, I’m confident it will stand up to long term pocket carrying. The form factor is low profile, the folio provides full coverage and the cut-out for the phone’s stereo speaker/mic port in the front flap is a bonus. Why I’m rating it 4 stars instead of 5: the coverings over the buttons require an uncomfortable amount of force (for me); the folio case doesn’t extend along the full length of the phone which makes it floppy in some positions; the slim form factor unfortunately also means there’s non way to use it as a stand; the magnetic strap sits in a sort of rigid housing on the back flap which means that it’s not a quick thumb flick to open it; and lastly, the good grip unfortunately brings to mind tire tread.

Truly rare level of quality! Beautiful materials, fit and finish. EXCELLENT drop protection!
Amazing level of quality one almost never sees these days. Superb materials, beautifully crafted, offers military spec protectionagainst dropping. I personally love OtterBox, which offers good protection. But UAG offers another, even higher level of quality fit and finish!

Very light weight, very cheap
This product is very light weight but do not purchase this case if you are looking for something that is strong and durable you will be disappointed.

2nd one exactly of this style/brand ... close to perfect
I don't carry a wallet or purse, so this works great for me. It is my second one (bought a new size phone). It holds THREE cards, that's it - and that is tight. The first lasted quite a few years, saved the phone from drops and spills, and was "perfect" enough to buy the same one again. It is not the most convenient to hold while talking... the "wallet" side is only connected by a small flap, but I got used to that.
