Does this rice cooker make sticky rice?

Sticky rice is not made, it is bought. Rice cooker are the way it is cooked in restaurants, so any rice cooker can do it. You maybe mistaking sticky rice for sushi rice which needs to have vinegar or dashi added. When you buy sticky rice in the store look for the words “glutinous rice” as well as "sticky rice" on the package. The 'secret' is to let the rice soak for 30 minutes at lest before cooking and to use less water than you would for short or long grain rice. Use 2 cups sticky rice to 2 and 1/2 cups water. Let soak for 30 minutes. After soaking, add ½ teaspoon of salt, then press the on button. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving. You can freeze the cooked rice.

Rice is starting to stick badly. I'm thinking the non-stick coating is wearing off - can I restore it or should I just buy a new one?

When the rice is cooked, do not leave the item on WARM for too long. Unplug the pot and let it sit without any additional heat added. Make sure you stir the rice and water before starting to cook. Just putting in rice and pouring in water (without stirring) tends to cause sticking.

Does it support 220 watts?

The three cup model consumes 300 watts, the five cup model 400 watts, and the eight cup model 500 watts. But I suspect you are actually asking about the voltage? In which case no, it does not use 220 VAC, It uses 110 VAC.

Can you start the cooker without the lid? Can this be used to cook hot pot?

Yes you can cook without the lid, and I frequently do because when I cook oats it will bubble over if I use the lid and cause a mess.

En esta vida moderna que nos tiene de cabeza de un lado a otro, lo que necesitamos son productos cómo está arrocera, es genial!! La amo, nos ha sacado de apuros pues el arroz queda muy bien cocido en poco tiempo y sin quemarse mientras puedes preparar otros platillos, de fácil manipulación y limpieza, nada ruidosa excelente tamaño para una familia promedio, la recomiendo al 100% hasta ahora en un mes de uso todo bien, solo recomiendo llevar a cabo todo el proceso inicial de uso por primera vez como se indica e incluso, no consumir lo primero que se prepare después de un primer uso, pues queda el sabor raro pero luego de eso genial, puedes preparar arroz de diferentes maneras e incluso leí que hasta preparar verduras al vapor (aún no lo he probado m, pero no dudo que no lo haga. Gracias!!

I already have a big 6 cup size and it’s just too big for me. This little 3 cup is perfect for one. If I make a dinner that needs rice, it makes the perfect amount for my meal plus enough for leftovers. Super easy to clean. Works like a charm! You definitely need this! Plus it cooks up faster than the big family sized one. If I lost it tomorrow I would buy another one to replace it

Puedes usar algún caldillo en vez de agua si lo deseas que no sea blanco. Las instrucciones son algo ambiguas, pero aquí el truco: Darle el tiempo de cocción indicado en la tabla de medidas-tiempo, y dejarlo tapado otros 15 min con el botón de cocción apagado (solo en modo calentar).
