Broilmaster Stainless Steel Bowtie Burner Set For P4 And D4 Gas Grills (pre-2011 Models)

Works on our Pre 2011 P series grill.Our original bowtie burner was only moving the thermometer up to about 400-500 degrees on full power with lid closed in the heat of summer. It was pretty rusted out and only could see yellow flame, even after messing with Venturi valves.New burner is definitely smaller, but provides an OEM fit to the valves. Slides right in as easily as the old one slid out. First test to burn off residue at high power in 30 degree weather hit 400 degrees within a few minutes. Grill heated to 700 easily a while later.

This appears to be well made. It’s the second one I’ve replaced over the last 20 years. (Plus the original).It’s supposed to be stainless steel but they rust out. Especially at the middle seam. Get about 7 years out of the burner.

Fits our 25 year old grill. Seems like flame takes time to come out but then works fine.

Did not fit grill ..Venturi tubes do not expand

easy install , decent price. Grilling like a new pit. If it lasts 8 to 10 years like the last burner, I'll be happy.

The workmanship on the venturis and the air shutters was very sloppy. As a result fine tuning the gas/air mix was not possible, and the flame burns inconsistently across the grill. Whoever is responsible for quality assurance needs to tighten up on their Chinese fabricator. My original burner set lasted about 8 years and gave steady, even heat across the grill.
