Walker Quiet-Flow SS 21054 Direct Fit Exhaust Muffler 3" Inlet (ID) 3" Outlet (ID) for Dodge Ram 2500

So I’ve tried a few different mufflers on my 06 Silverado. It has an eBay catless y pipe and 3 inch single exhaust system. The flow master flowfx sounded damn good but just too loud for daily use. Next, tried a dynomax turbo. Much more tolerable but still a little bit too loud. This muffler is about right. It’s definitely louder than stock but not annoying at all.

Fits 95 c1500 single cab.( 3" exhaust) The fitment required the muffler to be slightly tilted because the clearance to the drive shaft was only 1". The muffler has a flow direction and the 3 inch offset end is the cat side (inlet). I did not see this in the product image or description.This was not ideal but it worked and is quiet.I would have preferred the cat side to be centered for proper clearance and mounting angle but the astetics do not impeed function.

So I installed performance muffler and that rumbling noise and drone get me enough so I try to get back to stock or quiet muffler and Install flowmaster 50 series still drone on the highway OEM charge for my SUV more than 400 dolland.Walker quite flow was way to go now its super qiute and my truck like new enjoying every mileNo drone at all little louder then stock5.3 chevy V8 oem muffler was 26poundWalker SS came out 18 pound also I check internals build decent for prics U pay cant go wtong.

I can actually hear and talk on the phone inside my truck now. I had a chambered performance muffler on before and it was way to loud. I loved the sound but couldn't talk to people next to me above an idle. Now I can run down the interstate and the exhaust is quite throughout the power band and any RPM. Would be nice if the input and output of the muffler were both 3" but a simple adapter made the inlet 3" as I needed. Works great!

I can finally hear inside the cab of my truck. Bought a used Ram that had an aftermarket 3” exhaust installed with a loud magnaflow muffler. Extremely obnoxiously and droned really bad inside the cab. Purchased the walker quiet flow and could not be happier. Very easy install and made exhaust tones quiet enough to barely hear inside the cab.
