Rating: 3.5 StarsIn the second installment, Grim is still trying to keep his promise to Red of finding her daughter Sarah. This book starts about 10 years after the 'incident' with Red. Grim has still not fully recovered from the 'incident" and is coming to the conclusion that he will never find love again. Sarah, is living with her father, Benji, and constantly moving. Grim has trust issues about his MC and there's still beef with the rival MC, Devils' Reject, lead by Hook.There was so much going on in this story. It was raw, gritty and never boring. There were also some mind-blowing secrets that were revealed at the end that left me shocked! The violence was definitely kicked up a few notches in this book. Some of the things that went down were painful to read. Again, no hearts and flowers here.Since I did not get a sense of romance in this book, I'd say this was all about retribution. This leaned heavy on the gritty/ugly side and less on the romantic side. Be warned! I plan on reading the next installment, "Baby", Grim and Red's daughter. So far, I'm not a fan of Baby's character.Why Not 5 Stars?Same feedback from book #1: Lack of character development. The insta-love with Grim. I did not understand their connection and love. It just seemed to come from out of no where. A really good example, Romeo and LL. There were zero details disclosed about their past relationship. Where is the backstory on their relationship. How did they meet, what were their issues, what happened to separate them? It was strange.Writing Style - I'm still not a fan of it. While this book was much better than Grim, I still found things moved at warped speed without the details. There were such huge jumps in time between events, I had a difficult time keeping up. One paragraph they are in the clubhouse, the next they are in the trailer, without the proper transitions to get them there. This also read like a SoA episode towards the end with the secrets revealed. The secrets were simply stated without any build-up.

This book is about Sarah, Gypsy's daughter and Grim's promise to Gypsy to get her from Hook. It picks up several years after Grim: The Beginning ends and follows the trail he takes to keep his promise. Sarah/Rumor was told horrible stories about Grim and what he would do to her her entire life. But, little do they know that because of the terrible life she's had to live, she prays for the Grim reaper to come get her. Rumor is another great addition to this series.

Red’s death has so deeply affected Grim that he is no longer the man he used to be, he is hell bent on avenging Red’s death, getting revenge of his own and finding Red’s first daughter who lives with her madman of a father, Benji of the Devil’s Rejects MC.Grim has left his and Red’s daughter, Baby, back in Drag Creek, in the care of and being raised by Slim’s wife, Foxie and with their two boys, Rebel & Striker. Whenever he does come home, he does see Baby, but at 10 years old, she hates him. She wants her father, but since he is always on the road, she continually acts out in school and runs wild at home. Another 3 years pass without success of finding Red’s first daughter, Sarah, and Grim starts to accept the fact that he failed in his endeavor and decides to move back home permanently.His being home is means that Baby moves back in with him, though she refuses to call him dad and when she gets in trouble, she runs to Foxie. She is still wild, but Grim tries to be a father to her, the one that he should have been all along. Being home also means the ability to meet someone and possibly fall in love again.When Grim gets a new lead on Sarah he jumps all over it, hoping to finally fulfill Red’s last wish. Sarah has grown up in seclusion and despair with her dad, his best friend and a shared woman. She grew up being told that one day Grim would come for and he would kill her, and that was why they had to move constantly. Her childhood was so terrible, that she began to wish for the day that Grim would find them and kill her, ending her suffering.But just because he’s able to fulfill Red’s last wish doesn’t mean that their daughters will get along. Baby may act immature, but looking deeper, it’s really the fact that she hasn’t ever had her dad in a parental capacity and she certainly doesn’t want to share him after only having him for a few months.There are some wild and crazy revelations, some that could have been suspected, and that just sets up the drama for the next book. I really like how the author includes MC drama along with all the personal drama and I am looking forward to the next book/s in this series.

Bless his heart. I love Grim! His heart broke when he lost Red. But he kept his promise and searched for Sarah for years. Whenever he got close, somehow they'd be gone. But he never gave up. Baby, his and Red's daughter is very troubled. Trouble being the way to describe her. She's feisty and stubborn and definitely a handful. There are a number of twists and turns. You'll stay on the edge of your seat wanting to know what happens next. You'll learn that some people are worth trusting, when others aren't. Some people were just plain deceitful. You'll find Sunshine where you least expect it and love her! So glad Grim is happy. But there will be some changes you didn't see coming.Hopefully this isn't a spoiler, but Sarah is Rumor. That's the name she picks to go by. Baby and Rumor and those cute little hellions, Striker and Rebel, sons of Slim and Foxie will be the main characters in the next book we're told we can expect later this year.I think I actually liked this book better than the first, but both are good MC reads.

RawIntenseGrittyLoved it!Ok so I'll start by saying I love Glenna, she's rocked my biker world. And yes I would marry her in a heartbeat!Although I would get done for bigamy but oh well it would so be worth it! ;)Now with all my reviews I don't go into to much detail with the story.Ok where to start, Grim I loved him in the first book, but my heart broke for him. I was still hurting in Rumour. Grim has had a hard time since Red died and left him with the Baby, he's at a cross roads, keep his promise or look after his child... Tough decisions to be made. And only Grim can choose them. He is very much still the sexy biker we all love and he finds his way! Eventually!Baby I loved her and hated her at times seriously I just wanted to strangle her!! But after all she is Reds daughter so... She's fiery lots of attitude and a pain in the bum, but I felt sorry for her, like she craves the attention and not always good attention.Sunshine how I loved her. Her character was sweet, caring, kind totally loveable from the start. She supported Grim in his decisions, never stopped him from doing what he felt was right. Always by his side. (For better or for worse).Rumour I loved her probably more than Baby. She's been through so much and my heart ached for her. But she pulled through. She was a strong child and developed into a stronger women. She has her problems, but in a weird way they help her deal with the decisions she will have to make in the future. My heart broke for her. She isn't loud or outgoing she's timid and I loved her character.So over all if I could rate this book more than 5 stars I would, this series is a must read.Glenna Rocked it once again, and I'm dying to read the next book!I'll be patiently waiting! I honestly don't know where to start, I absolutely loved this book GRIM goes throw so much in his life I'm amazed he's still saine. I can't get the song one two GRIM is coming for you, three four had better lock the door, five six had better tuck you in tight, seven eight never mind it's too late..... I honestly couldn't put the book down and read it in one sitting, I was totally shocked by some of the twists and revelation made in this book, but I'm glad GRIM found sunshine and Sarah, I can't Waite for rumor (Sarah) and baby's books I know there going to be very interesting you can sense the attention between the two sisters already, I hope we still get glimpses of grim and sunshine in the new books to come. Deffinetly a series I'd highly recommend if you love your biker boys then GRIM, Romeo and the Black Rebel Riders are deffinetly for you xx

Fast paced, action packed with an edge, this is emotionally charged story, with lies and betrayal, I cried at the end of Grim, the Beginning and I was sad in this, I just can't wait for Baby's book.

Another great story from Glenna. Grim is out for revenge and still trying to keep his promise to Red to find Sarah. Can't wait to read the next one.
