Review: Transformative creative experience! - I had a hard time deciding between this and Maschine Studio. I'm not a "beat maker" or loop artist - my primary instrument is guitar, with traditional keyboard a close second. Cons: Having spent time with Maschine, it's clear that Ableton still has a way to go before catching up with Native Instrument's total integration. It is possible to create a song from start to finish using only the Push 2, but the process is just more awkward and less intuitive. Prepare to spend a lot of time turning knobs on the Push 2 to navigate layer upon layer of cascading menus. Ugh. Pros: Almost everything else. 64 pads allow you to have direct access to your drum/sample pads AND the sequencer interface simultaneously. When laying down drum beats or loops, the Push 2 let's my mind stay on the creative process... I often just get lost in the flow and am amazed at what I'm able to create when my creative process isn't interrupted constantly by a computer monitor and a mouse. The MOST AMAZING and revolutionary feature of the Push, however, is that it is a competent and powerful replacement for a traditional MIDI keyboard. Notes are laid out in a way that is immediately intuitive to a guitarist, and should still feel natural to a pianist. Chords and intervals are reproduced across the entire pad by learning finger patterns. Gone are the mental gymnastics and rote learning required to translate chords and modes across musical keys on the physical keyboard - with Push, you simply dial in the key, mode, and octave, and let muscle memory do the rest. Being a long time Native Instruments and Propellerhead user, I am much less happy with Ableton Live. Not my cup of tea. Even so, I feel that this was well worth the purchase price.
Review: Amazing controller! Build Quality is A+ - Amazing controller for Ableton Live. It totally changed my workflow. You can control anything you want in Ableton and even more. I believe it's not just a controller, it's more of a tool. You'll stop staring at your monitor from the time you launch the controller for the very first time and that large multicolor display is INCREDIBLE. I also want to mention solid built quality. All of the knobs and pads are also solid and nice to touch. The full control of the updated simpler is truly impressive and fun to use on the new display. The colors are amazing too and you can tell by looking at different promo pictures. It's not any different. Overall, it's a must have for anyone who uses Ableton Live and wants to change workflow. The price is high but totally worth it in my opinion. You probably already know about its features. If not, check out free tutorials on YouTube from Ableton's channel. Enjoy it!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: whats the difference between this & this( https://amzn.to/2MY9vMT )?**
A: Hey there,

Thank you for the question.

The product is the same, Push 2. The difference is the seller. One is one of our official Amazon re-sellers, Pitbull Audio, the other is Amazon themselves.

Hope this helps! If you have additional questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to our Support Team at https://www.ableton.com/en/help/ or give us a call M-F 3am-1pm PST @ (323) 924-3808

Cheers,
Chris, Ableton Support

**Q: Does it come with an interface to connect to a mac book pro? or does it connect straight to the computer?**
A: Straight into the computer through a usb type B port. It has external power only to make it brighter, which I have going on at all times. It's just a controller to use for ableton, so all you'll need is Ableton 9.5

**Q: With ka6 interface and abelton 9.6, can i use this to loop, play, and record multiple tracks at same time??? guitar, keyboards, and vocals...**
A: No this won't actually record anything. I.e. There are no inputs located on the controller. Abelton is more for after you record you can loop and sequence etc.

**Q: Does this item ship to Argentina? How long does it take? Thanks!**
A: I can definitely ship to Argentina! Not sure how long it would take, ill mail same business day though. I'm in Colorado.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ And the musical world was never the same again...
*by J***N on August 21, 2017*

I'm loving my Push 2 even more than I had expected - and I had had very high hopes. The hype is not an exaggeration. This is a new generation of musical instrument which will change the game forever. In particular it is the idea that the notes under your fingers change basis the scale you choose allows for one set of learned playing techniques to apply to many different scenarios. It's a bit like playing a keyboard in the style of guitar playing, where the patterns your fingers make remain geometrically the same relative to you hand position. I bought the Push 2 as a controller for Ableton, and it does that incredibly well - but it is the musical instrument aspect that truly blows my mind and the mind of everyone I've shown this thing to. A non musician can sound like an accomplished keyboard player within minutes - imagine what a practiced keyboard payer can do!
