Why does this look like an ontario rat-1 knock off?

Because it basically is. I've owned this one for about a year as basically my every day wear knife. It's preformed perfectly... Looking at it the spine doesn't have as many frame screws as a Rat-1 ( which I own as well and added to my bugout bag after I got this one) however this hasn't taken away from its dependability. It's been worked hard and only touched the blade up once. I'd strongly recommend this knife if you need an actual daily knife that's expected to occasionally work hard , continue working perfectly after a year, and still look good.

Bearing pivots or washers????? Real Ganzos are supposed to have bearing pivots but i keep hearing these have cheap ass washers instead!

The small has plastic caged stainless bearings. The large model has PB washers. Cheap ass washers? Some of my finest knives ride on PB washers, hell I have a 1100 dollar knife that runs on PB washers. To be honest I hate knives that run on bearings because well designed knives with tight tolerance are silky smooth on PB bushings and stay that way. If anything gets in the bearings, dust, sand, pocket lent etc etc the action suffers an you have to clean and relube. If it's a knife that will never see use bearings are fine if it's a knife that will see use then it needs to be on bushings.
