Pros and Cons Review
I made this purchase 6 months ago, and I am pleased. There is just one issue on this device, that neither Amazon or Asus could help me with. This laptop is sooooo! great, and multifaceted. One day, the backlit keyboard stopped working. I am one of those people who snuggles with their laptop and surf before going to bed; so the led keyboard is a necessity. When it occurred I was not ready for it and I chose not to make a a fuss. Why? Because this malfunction, could be a fault of the carrier. When the package is mishandled, or handled ruffly and dropped at the door instead of placed at the destinations door. For example: the arrows on the box often see with the phrase (Handle with Care) instructing the carrier to place, carry, and load this box right side up or this side up. Some people ignore these simple instructions because they have their own concept of what is okay, I guess. These actions do have an affect on electronic devices. Overall, this laptop is a keeper, but not for beginners. The touchscreen flows smoothly with good response, 360 hinge, compact, light weight, a fair amount of ports. Perfect for any artist, and still working great. Share this review and I do recommend this laptop.

You buy and they own control, invade privacy, and manipulate administrator aithority.
The first thing about this computer was a lack of privacy, when I logged on to my amazon account through this device all of a sudden Amazon kept asking me to prove I was my own account holder through my own devices. ALSO, MY PASSWORDS WERE BEING CHANGED MAKING VERY TEDIOUS THE RECOVERY OF MY ACCOUNT AMONG OTHER THINGS AS WELL SUCH AS BILLING ERRORS. Before I used this computer everything with Amazon was very smooth going. Then the computer requires you to begin an account with Microsoft and the tells you the account does not exist. I have been back and forth on this computer very many times. I am well acquainted with the use of computers. This computer puts the user through a bunch of unecessary steps to get anything done. I bought this computer for my child and we started the first email account and password for him and then were told the account doesn,t exist. This computer is seriously dysfunctional. The speeds are not consistent with advertising and the battery life is neither capable to manage a days worth of laptop running about 3 hours fully charged or as advertised. The sound chip is attacked a day after you start to begin using making no sound whatsoever and the pointer stops working on the second day. The computer seems to have an overcontroler which makes the computer not yours. Most changes you make to it are overridden by some unknown hand. Even when I am using separate accounts for my children and myself. It does not Apparantly give you the owner control of your own computer. It is designed for you to buy extra features which they are willing to sell you. There are very minimal apps esspecially for children. A very disappointing buy at $470. I am an experienced computer user. This computer has serious issues for which are very questionable for a computer which belongs to the owner.

Don’t get this
TLDR at bottomOkay well right off the bat, the monitor completely stopped working. No reason why, doesn’t show any outside damage or any reason why it would’ve stopped working. But even before that. I got this computer in September I think sometime around there and not even a few months later after an update (keep in mind I bought this laptop SPECIFICALLY FOR THE TOUCH SCREEN) but after the update the touch screen stopped working 😀 not sure which update? Not sure when it exactly happens either. I just know that one day I tried using it and BOOM no more touch screen. Which was so incredibly frustrating I wanted to punch the screen out of this god forsaken laptop it made me so upset I literally had a break down. Anyways so after I found that out, I searched the internet up down in our left and right for a way to fix it. But when I found a good video that showed me exactly what I needed to do and where the problem was probably originating from. Which was some sort of menu which had all of the software(?) I’m pretty sure. I’m not super tech savvy or anything but I looked at that menu for days trying to find where I could open up the touchscreen settings(?) but guess what!! Turns out the update (which I’m not sure is what caused this but it had to be something so I’m going with that) had completely removed the touchscreen function from my laptop!!! So that was like so super fun to find out the laptop I got for a SPECIFIC FEATURE JUST MAGICALLY LOST THAT FEATURE I BOUGHT UT FOR. Anyways. I don’t think you should get this if that’s the reason you want it. Plus the screen is black. Has been for weeks haven’t tried anything to fix it Idk If I will or when I will if I do. I might just take it to a shop. But again I don’t recommend.TLDR: touchscreen feature got COMPLETELY removed after an update or something and the screen is fully black and idk why any of this is happening.Update! Screen isn’t black anymore 😭 not sure why it randomly decided to start working again after abt a week of me trying to turn it on but I’m grateful regardless 😭🙏

Plan on adding ram.
This is a solid laptop for the price. One thing I highly recommend is adding a stick of ram. Tee laptop comes with 1 open ram slot so I added a 32 GB stick and it went from almost unusable to a great daily driver. With the stock of 4 GB ram, it was a chore to run even one program at a time. Adding a $40 stick of ram changed all that and I can run multiple programs with no problems now.The touchscreen is nice and responsive and works well with a smart pen (purchased separately). Battery life has been fine. Nothing to write home about but nothing to complain about either. In its stock state, I would not recommend this laptop. If you plan on adding more ram then it's a hell of a deal. Here is the ram I went with (DDR4 32GB Single 3200MHz PC4-25600 CL22 Unbuffered Non-ECC 1.2V SODIMM 260-Pin):https://www.amazon.com/dp/B089W78CVJ
