Excellent insight into some classic rock songs. Caused me to really listen again to some of my favourites and discovered hidden depths.

These are useful books if you are trying to compose music and are looking for ideas about what makes hits. There are no magic formulas revealed, but you may find yourself listening to some hit songs you hadn't paid attention to and having a new idea or two. Getting a new idea when you are trying to create is well worth the slight price of this book.
