This is a perfect quality-of-life (and feature) upgrade for the HD 6XX/650. A much better feeling cable than the OEM, with additional versatility in its ability to connect to balanced outputs. Lives on my 6XX now; when I want to listen single-ended I just use an adatper rather than going back to the pretty awful OEM.

An excellent upgrade option over the original Sennheiser HD650 cable. When balanced, the audible improvement through a quality DAC dongle is very noticeable, and it's worth it. The terminations are good, and the connectors appear firm, robust, and of good quality.

bought 2 of them over the last two years and they both have failed via the cable failing at the connectors (one of the three smaller cables will rip). Lowest price for 4.4mm balanced though so you get what you pay for. Might be worth investing alittle more for a better cable and I will be getting one with a braided cable to see if that helps with this issue however

I bought this to get more power into my Sennheiser HD 650 via my questyle M15 dongle's balanced output. IT made a huge difference in the soundstage and details I can hear now with the sennheiser, and a much lighter cable than the stock one. I don't notice any change in sound quality (not a real audiophile, just a music lover). NOw I can enjoy my headphones on the go with just a dongle

This is a really great cable. No microphonics. The assembled cable is quite flexible. The jack is high quality. The looks are really good. Left side is left side and right side is right side. You can't ask for more.

I bought this to try my HD 600 in balanced mode. I was not expecting much, but I was happy with the result. My amp is perhaps best used with this cable as there seems to be more power on tap (FIIO K9 ARM version). I tried different single ended cables before, but didn't notice a change. I'm not saying that the cable really makes a difference in sound, although it may, but that it uses the amp differently and I have a sense of more headroom and dynamics.

There's no strain relief on the connectors, and the wires broke after two months of normal use. The left headphone only plays audio if I jiggle the cord just right.

The cable itself performs as expected with no real difference to the original cable that came with my HD 650's. It is a bit strange/annoying having them lead to a 7.7mm male which may in many cases (including my own) may require some sort of adapter to be useable which may be the reason for the "largely refunded" description I saw on the cable. The annoying sound comes from the cable itself when moving your head in any form you can hear the cable moving & scraping around the connection point, it's mostly only auidble when nothing is playing through the headphones but it's definitely something I noticed straight away. Overall I'd say stick with the original cable your Sennheisers come with, especially if you have to go through the hassle of getting an adapter.

Good for the price

Didnt think it was that good but the quality for the price is nice, you get a bag for the cables and a Leatherclamp to hold the cables together, very nice. No production failures. Just a good Cable that fits also on older Sennheiser Headphones like the HD 540 and HD 535. Cant say anything against it. Solid built
