This toy is great. Bought it for my grandson aged 2. He didn’t quite have the concept to let it run on its own and kept picking it up and trying to push it along. Once grasped that it moved by itself he followed it round the living room. It’s very well made, durable (he dropped it a few times, no damage) had hours of fun with it. Would recommend, a great gift.

We have loads of toot toot and this is the best one yet. It's a really good size and takes a beating without so muc as a mark on it. My son absolutely loves this truck moving around on its own

I got this for my little 2 year old nephew to play with when he comes to visit. It is so, so cute and he absolutely loves it. It's a really smart toy and the design is perfect for crazy little boys (and girls!) and he loves to chase it around the living room.Pros:• Avoids objects: has smart sensors to stop it from hitting us, the dog and the furniture (my dog still hates it though)• Great size: it's actually pretty big and very sturdy so can get knocked around by boistrous children• Comes with batteries (for "demoing" but they have a lot of charge so far)• Interactive: pressing the roof button gets you vehicle information and fun songs, so it has an educational and musical aspect to it. It also lights up• Big tyres: the big plastic tyres means it doesn't get stuck easily• Awesome monster truck design: really cute little facial expression with a killer exhaustCons:• Would have been cooler if the tyres were rubber; it struggles a little bit on laminate flooringI'd say this is another great toy from VTech. It works smoothly, combines education with motor fun, and totally wears young ones out. The sensor technology actually works (it's a brave thing to claim, too, especially with our dog) and overall I can't really fault it so far.Totally recommend it as a gift or for your own little one to chase around and it can cope with being banged about, so great for any high-energy children.

This is actually a very big Monster Truck, so keep that in mind when purchasing that you are not spending that much on a smaller vehicle. It's so worth the money! We've been playing with this for a few days, it came with batteries which was such a relief when it came to unboxing. The vehicle uses IR sensors to detect children or obstacles to avoid crashing, it has 2 modes of play to really keep the children engaged and interacting, it has a light up roof and a button which tells the child vehicle facts, and road safety facts which I found lovely. It uses phrases and even sings songs to keep the kids interested and they kept going back to it and asking about it. The price is well worth it, and both girls and boys will love it, I really think it would be good for ages 1 and a half - 5 years really. My Grandchildren are a mix of ages between 2-4 and they adored it, the Stop & Go buttons teach colours, and even trigger left, right, forward & spinning which was such a surprise! It's a really cool toy and it helps with motor skills as the child chases it, and even helps with naming their colours.

Most toys from well known manufacturers have two volume settings, low and high. Unfortunately not this one, the volume is ridiculous loud. There is no setting with lower volume or mute with just lights. Very annoying! I do not let my son play more then 10 mins with the car switched on, I am genuinely concerned for his hearing
