Was just informed thY these have been banned in Canada for thr last 10 years due to fire hazard! Not happy at all spend money on something that could burn down my home. Why Amazon allows this to be on here when it is banned for over 10 years is beyond me and I am fully pissed off.

Se ve y se siente de buena calidad, yo la quería para la salida del aire acondicionado portátil, no me funcionó, primero no queda en la salida, pero si cabe la salida que traeel AC, dentro de esta, y sella sin liberar aire dentro del cuarto, el problema es que este tubo emite el calor que lo contiene al exterior, entonces era como tener un radiador gigantesco en el AC, subía la temperatura en vez de bajar, imagino para otros usos que no sean refrigerar de ninguna manera debe ser bueno

I purchased this based on what is now clearly a couple misleading or erroneous reviews. I had hoped to use this vent hose to put heated air from my diesel heater into various places, however there's a slight problem with that plan: the heater quickly overheats and shuts down due to restricted airflow. The longest piece that can be used in such a way proves to be just 5 feet! And then being sure not to set the heater beyond H-3, or medium. Totally inadequate for such purposes.This vent tubing might be useful for something around here but, supplying heated air from a diesel heater ain't one of them.

Not what i was expecting, my old dryer vent was stiff aluminum and once it was dented, hard to get the dent outthis is like a slinky with 1 wire looping it all together and easily collapsable/expandableworked good for the dryer vent though, have lots left over

so ... DO NOT USE THIS if its going to be heated and run though an OCCUPIED space.... it smells like DEATH . if that CALI cancer warning had a smell ... THIS IS IT .... its rough. i installed it as a straight section on my duct to replace a failing section of pipe.... as soon as i opened the bag i was BLOWN AWAY by what it smelled like... as soon as any one walked into my house thye asked what that smell was ... it over powered my curry and my wood stove for smell ... if youre using it under ur house ... maybe then it MIGHT be ok... but i had to take it out after 2 weeks of headaches and this never fading smell .
