Excelente caneta de pena chata para caligrafia, especialmente Fraktur. Compatível com conversores 2mm ou com cartuchos individuais. Recomendo o uso de papel especial ou 90 gramas.

This is probably the 30th time I've purchased this pen . . . which shows how much I love it, as well as how many times I've had to replace it. The pen itself is amazing - the flow of the ink is constant, there is very little splotching (ok, made-up word, but happens when there are moments in your writing when the ink doesn't deliver a constant flow), is very easy to refill, and most importantly - comes in a solid variety of sizes (1.1mm, 1.5mm, 1.9mm). I believe that most people use the thinnest size - 1.1mm or thereabouts - for everyday writing purposes. I tend to use the 1.9mm the most, as I feel it adds the "necessary" drama to my written mathematical equations. I don't purchase refill packs, I re-use the old ink container by injecting ink with a craft syringe. Being able to continually inject ink when refilling is one of the parts I love most about this pen - I am able to save a ton of money on ink (and cartridges), am able to use several different types and colors of inks, and (this is probably just me) I love the whole process of filling the syringes and injecting into cartridges. I usually have a handful of pens with each sized nib on hand so that I can keep the cartridges filled with different colors of ink. One of the biggest negatives about this item is that the pen mechanics are sometimes flawed, or they "break" or become warped or cracked. I used to think this cracking was due to my holding the pen with too much force, but eventually I realized that the plastic used in these pens are kind of cheap, and the cracking should be expected. I find cracking only in 1 out of every 8 or 9 pens I use, and only after about three months of continual use. The cracks in the pens mean that the ink leaks onto your fingers when writing - I have never found there to be significant leaking into the cap or onto any surface. I usually "fix" these leaks by covering the leaking area with clear nail polish. I'm usually able to cover the area with nail polish about three or four times before I deem the pen unsalvageable and have to throw it away (ie, I cover the head in nail polish, which stops the leaking for a few weeks at a time, and then re-apply when I start to see more leaking). Overall, I love these pens and sometimes think that I am the one person in North America propping this company up with all my purchases. I also purchase many very expensive fountain pens, but have never been able to find them in larger, variable sizes, as I can with this brand.

It leaks the ink cartridges

Of course there has been some mess, but nothing out of the ordinary for a beginners' learning curve. I suspect from long-ago experiemce, that lies more with the users' lack of experience than the pen itself. Would buy again.
