Asmodee Escape The Dark Castle: Cult of The Death Knight

Not the biggest fan of the mechanics introduced in this one but I enjoyed running through it and the addition with friends.

Also brought as a birthday gift for our son came on time well packed he’s not played it yet but it was exactly what he wanted and happy with it

a great game to play with the family. You have to work as a team to escape the castle - work out your strategy, monitor your health and use your items carefully to avoid dying before you escape. The manevolent creatures you meet along the way are illustrated on the chapter cards with a narrative to make it a story as well. There's an element of skill and an element of chance with dice to throw when you commence combat with the creatures. Our cool 15 year old prefers it to being away in her room and our 13 year old prefers it to his phone screen (I know)! We've enjoyed it so much that my son has already used his Christmas money to buy the next pack for more characters, chapters and increased game complexity. If you escape, everybody wins so there's no stomping off in a huff like there is with, say, ludo :) Highly recommend.

You must have the original excellent escape the dark castle Game for this expansion. It adds a great deal of more excitement and is definitely worth getting adding to what is already a great game.
