Soprano Recorder German Style C Key 8 Holes Easy Instrument for Beginners School Student Home Entertainment (Blue)

I purchased this for my nine year old granddaughter. Her music class at school was focusing on learning to play the recorder this fall. I gave her an old one-piece Hohner recorder I had, but I thought something a bit more “her own” might be a good idea. I began looking for another Hohner recorder, but the reviews I read regarding the “Mr. Power Soprano Recorder” really made it seem like a better choice. It was. It’s a much easier instrument to clean because it disassembles into several parts. It also has a pleasant sound, and has been an easy recorder to learn on. I am pleased with the quality, but, most importantly, it has been, according to my granddaughter, a lot of fun to use with her peers in her music class. She “loves it!”

Came over night and was absolutely perfect for my daughter’s fourth grade recorder practice. They get diffrent strings to tie on their recorder for each song they learn. She loves the color and that it came with a carrying bag. Which I wasn’t sure it was going to come with becasue it was such a good price.

Works great for 4th grader at school. Loved the color choices. Bag included. Perfect size. Came with extra notes and songs.

I got three of these for my toddlers. They love each having their own color. It doesn't sound too bad actually when they blow as hard as they can, but boy oh boy is it super loud. They have a great time with them and their basic percussion instrument set for our music time at home. They think they're playing Happy Birthday song as one blows, another bangs on a tambourine, and the third sings the words. It's very cute when they follow each other around the house to be a marching band. I tried it out as an adult and it works just fine. Nice value for something that's held up really well so far. Even with a little toss into the storage box.

Easy 4 son

We ordered 2 different recorders for my little one and wanted to see if we can get away with the less expensive one. The make of this is fine enough if you want to have a toddler play with it but if you actually want to play a tune, it seriously lacks. Spend $20 more and get a wooden one that has a much more pleasant sound.

Most child's first instrument. Recorder looks great, fits perfectly, sounds great. The cleaning rod it comes with is great for cleaning.

I had forgotten the pain of listening to bad recorder playing, but this brought it all back. There is nothing wrong with the product. It's solid and functional. I'm keen to get the offspring interested in music and listening to the torturous sounds of a badly played recorder is the price I have to pay. I am suffering as many parents have suffered before me. I can only hope he goes on to fame and fortune and doesnt turn into an a$$ hat and puts me in the good nursing home.

The recorder itself is great, my kids playing it on the other hand. This should come with ear plugs or medicinal alcohol to help you cope with the screeching renditions of three blind mice.
