Great Pry Bar Set!
Bought these for the tool box out in my home garage, they are high quality with a metal cap on the end of the handle for pounding on. They get the job done and I am glad that I bought them.

A necessity
Quality on par with snap on. Tool trucks rebrand these all the time. You know the prybars with the grips that everyone likes? Yeah, it's these.Buy these, these are what you will find on the tool truck. I've used snap on, Mac, Matco and these pry bars. These are the best by far.Stop getting ripped off. By these

10/10 best bang for the buck.
These are so beefy and wel built, it should almost be a crime. For those who don't know. These are sold under the matco name for twice the price. But seriously you can't bear the price for what you get here. I brought my other pry bar set to work and bought these for my home garage. My other set was a 4px set from olsa that were OK. But they still cost about 60 bucks These are not only better, but you're getting 5 different sizes.I have wanted my own set of these for a while, not I just need the minis and the straight bar.

Finally a beefy and honestly well built bar for a decent price.
I thought I had reviewed these already, but I just came across them again and no review. Well I have to fix that because live is too short for bad tools and you have to recognize the good ones. I have an assortment of Harbor Freight pry bars (some broken and some not) some old Craftsman pry bars with chewed up handles from abuse, some really old no name lady slippers, a damn useful but don't use it for serious prying index-able head Gear Wrench bar, and a small blue handled OTC tool pry bar I bought to put in my trailer go bag for pulling the trailing arms off of trailer torsion axles when the "Maintenance Free" hubs let go. I picked up that 8" OTC bar because I needed something that fit in the tool bag and I would trust my health and safety on the side of the road to and I remember them being fairly high quality and they were highly reviewed. Imagine my surprise when the tip of that bar bent easily with just light one handed pressure trying to open up the pinch bolt on the trailing arm, I tried using the striking cap to tap it in with the copper faced hammer I use and the tip mushroomed instead of opening up the arm. I had to resort to using a screwdriver as a wedge to loosen it because the bar I bought couldn't get the job done. After that I went back on the hunt and reconsidered these pry bars and after much debate pulled the trigger rather than spending the money on a Snap on bar. One of the reasons I picked up this set is because if the 8" bar didn't do the job I would just go further up the size scale until I found tone I did. Glad I did, the 8" bar in this set is night and day better than the OTC bar. I am assuming that the OTC bar was defective, made out of some sort of black cheese instead of painted steel, and a calmer head may have tried to exchange it for another one instead of testing its aerodynamics in flight but I definitely don't regret buying the Mayhew Dominators, these pry bars are a pleasure to use and feel great in the hand. The striking caps take a beating without getting all tore up (since they are not painted) and the are designed for the abuse rather than all plastic handles. The tips are all in great shape still and the shafts don't flex like the cheaper bars where you risk causing your self some serious rebound damage when the tip slips, dangerous even if they don't break. I swear they are really worth it, just spend a few bucks on this set and pocket all the difference in cost from the tool truck versions. The OTC bars may have a great review and maybe some people get better quality than mine, but that wasn't my experience and these guys hold up. Not the cheapest, not the most expensive, but made in the USA and darn good quality.

One tough prybar.
Probably the strongest screwdriver/prybar I've ever used. Pry with it, beat on it and comes out looking like brand new.

Why buy overpriced pry bars off a truck because they are a name brand. For the money these will and are a lot better. I use these in an industrial setting with no issues. Highly recommend

They look and feel strong BUT
These pry bars have good handles but the finish is trash. Every time I touch them I have to wash the black paint from my hands.

Great prybar set
I use these products in the heavy equipment industry. These are strong, and I like that handles better than the snap-on ones. Good buy, wish I could’ve found them in a different color, but not that big of a deal.

Love the striking tip on the handle, however storage tray is Junk.
Quite decent pry bar set for the price. The price is a little higher than i was willing to spend just because it's something that will get tossed around, bent and pry'ed on, hammered on so for the price i didn't know if it was something worth it or not but needed a good quality set for work so i decided to purchase it. Arrival i does come in a "plastic tray". I put that in quotation marks because when i received mine the tray was already broken i 4 different places as it basically is cheap plastic and doesn't even hold the pry bars so be prepared for throwing it out almost immediately. The pry bars are very durable as they are very strong with significant force applied to them. With almost a hundred pounds of pressure the pry bars don't even begin to flex and are still look brand new to this date. A nice feature is the striking tip on the end of the handle. If you have ever owned a pry bar without one then i am sure you would know handles crack with a few whacks so having that makes me feel better that these pry bars were designed for that. Whatever it is from hammering, prying, bending, twisting, or whatever you have to throw at these pry bars these were put up to the task for almost anything, and any job. Forget about Snap-on, Mac Tools, or etc these are the next best pry bars and would totally recommend these for anyone's toolbox. All i say is buy something better to store them in because that's my only doubt!

Nice
I was worried the handle would be too soft but it it actually quite hard, but not quite as hard as the hard plastic handle on some pry bars. I have already been hammering on it and the tip shows zero deformation - so I am impressed with the durability. I would highly recommend this pry bar for automotive use.i

Must buy.
Absolutely top notch. Would buy again. I'm in Australia so we don't have Matco, but i heard this was the compamy that makes them for matco in usa. I have a snap on set, and tbh the handles on the mayhew are so much more comfortable. I bought these as they have the straight tips which is something i kept finding i needed. I only wish i could buy the full set on Amazon AU. Well worth the money, haven't been disappointed with any of the mayhew stuff I've bought.
