The King of Queens: Season 2

I just finished watching the second season of The King Of Queens. This season is about the same as the first (comedy wise). The writing is still great and very fresh. This show is still the show about the "common" guy and how he tries to get by in life. This season has a little more character development. Arthur becomes crazier and more obsessed. His classic line from this season has to be when he talks about getting beat up by a biker gang and a young man named "Road Hog" taking advantage of him. Doug becomes more aggresively angry and gets jealous a lot easier. Him seems to try to fit in with others better, i.e. becoming a big brother and trying to run a 10K. Carrie doesn't change too much. We learn that she is a chronic cheater at games, but other than that she is the same great character.As for the quality of the DVDs, this season is far better. The first season was a little fuzzy because they tried to put too many shows on one disc. There is one less episode on each disc this season and the difference is noticable. The special features are not as good as I would like, but the humor of the show is enough to hold this set up on its own. I would recommend getting this set if your a fan of good comedy.

The King of Queens - The Complete Second Season Was not a fan of TKOQ when it was a weekly sitcom. Started watching the nightly re-runs about a year ago and became addicted. I purchased sesaon one and quickly laughed my way through it! Finding myself wanting more without having to wait for my the one hour re-run each night, I bought the second season. Doug Cary and Arthur continue to amaze me with their comedic wit and timing. The characters and the mess they get into are so funny and even funnier is that some of the story lines are actually believable! AS as New Yorker, i can write that the Queesn, N.Y and many other NYC referecences area authentic! Cary steals the show in many of the episodes, but Doug is still my man! Doug and I have alot in common in that we realy like Arthur most of the time. I look forward to purchasing the Third Season.

The King of Queens was the best show on TV and it didn't get the respect it deserved. It was on the air for nine seasons, that says something about it. Wasn't Seinfeld on for nine seasons? It was wholesome and family oriented and I could watch it with my sons and husband and not be embarrassed. So much of their personalities were the same as my husband and I, I started calling him 'Doug'. I miss the whole family and wish it were back on the air. I only have season eight to buy and then my collection will be complete.

This season wasn't quite as good as the first season imo, I felt like the first half of the season was a bit dull but then towards the second half of the season it really started getting good, I found myself watching episode after episode until the end. One thing that annoys me about the first two seasons is how they cram 10-11 episodes on one disc, and then only put five on the third disc. Having to go through all the episodes on a disc can be a hastle, so it's best to watch one disc all at once. This was also the last season that featured the character Richie regularly, which is kind of a shame as he was pretty entertaining (more so in the first season though)

For anyone who loved the show on tv this will be no surprise - it's hillarious. Most of the shows on tv today are not as good as this series (too bad it had to come to an end). If you need a good laugh, just pop one of these DVD's in and enjoy. I also like the feature where you can play each episode individually or just let the whole DVD play through. Too often you run across ones that make you play each episode individually with no other options. This season (and all of the other ones as well) is worth the money.

THE DVD WAS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. YOU CAN TRUST DECLUTTER WITH YOUR MONEY. I TOOK A CHANCE AND WAS NOT LET DOWN. GO AHEAD IT'S ALL GOOD. THE KING OF QUEENS SEASON 2 HAS GREAT PICTURE AND GOOD SOUND.

personally i found this season not as funny as the first, or other following seasons.
