Q: what are the outside dimensions? need to fit in a small pocket

I bet it's 7/8" tall, and about 2 1/2" by 3," as I recall (no longer need to use). Maybe the manufacturer/seller can answer?

Q: How durable is this case? I have a dog who chew thru very "durable" cases with ease

Your dog could chew through it. It is hard plastic but not indestructible. I would not leave it out where your pup can find it.

Q: what color cases do you send out?

I received black and purple with glitter.

Q: Are these cases made with FDA approved plastic?

Not sure if FDA approved plastic. Only used them while orthodontist was out on vacation.
