It has a simple metal clip that is the only downfall of this knife. I replaced my clip with a 3.3" Ulti Clip & am good to go! **Q: Does the sheath have a clip** A: It does. The knife is epic for the price point & goes beyond expectations & the sheath has great retention.However, the clip is garbage & should be replaced with the 3.3" Ulti clip (sold separately). Knife came wicked sharp and love the slim blade shape. Rear ring is generously large.... Sheath...took all my strength to get the knife out. Had to drill out the first rivet to give the Kydex enough flex to be able to pull the knife out. Also it has this big hokin belt clip on the back that is not appropriate for this size knife...it will be replaced.
