I used my old North Face Slingshot backpack for nearly 18 years, so it was time to upgrade. I always liked the design of the Recon and chose to purchase this backpack. I've never seen the navy backpack in person, but since it's my favorite color, I pulled the trigger. When I received it, I was surprised by how nice and sleek it looked. All the compartments were thoughtfully designed and are practical. The soft material they used for the interior of the front compartment is perfect for phones, glasses, and other things you want to keep safe. The backpack was bigger than expected, and is more than adequate to carry my everyday work items. The straps are comfortable and sturdy. The external fleece-lined pocket is a huge upgrade from my old Slingshot strings that could only carry clothes. I don't use the buckle straps, so it does look a little sloppy at times. However, you can adjust them so they're not in your way. The bottom of the backpack looks durable and it's very unlikely any holes will form in the future. Since my old backpack lasted so long, I'm confident this one will last longer. Overall, I think it's a quality backpack and I'm getting more than I paid for.

Literally THEE BEST trucker hat ever. Absolutely tops all my other trucker hats. Price and quality were unmatched. It’s also not very big and bulky on my head (I’m a woman) so that’s a major PLUS.

I bought this for my boyfriend to use when he’s on his motorcycle and it’s fantastic quality! I love Northface as a brand and their quality is unmatched.There are clips to secure the bag around the chest and waist. There are ample pockets and each zipper feels very secure. My boyfriend has been using this backpack for 7 months for rides and when traveling and it still looks brand new!

Perfect hat, fit and comfort!

This backpack weighs over 3 lbs unfilled. The laptop compartment is really nice, well padded and convenient. The downside is that it limits the size of the main compartment for packing travel items. I would definitely recommend the pack for buisiness and student packing but for day pack use, there are other choices tthat work better. The North Face gear is very stylish and well made. I am glad I made the choice to own this pack specifically for traveling with a PC.

It’s a little tight in the main compartment and since it’s not a clamshell it can be tough to get to your stuff down there but the bag is nice, definitely quality.

Had gotten this backpack as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend years ago. He was ecstatic, needing a backpack for college. Went through 4 years of college with it, and he still uses it to this day for work (after all these years, it’s holding up great). North Face just lasts forever, and it stays in style. It’s worth it.

This is a perfect backpack for students, not too big but roomy enough for all their books.
