The Cressi Young Long Sleeve Rash Guard top is a reasonable choice for protection from the sun and in keeping one comfortable in the cold water without uncomfortably restricting movement or causing skin rashes.If your child is sensitive to things like tags on shirts, I feel its' best to point out that there is one on the collar area and rest close to the back of the neck. This tag can be removed pretty easily, however.Care instructions are rinse in cold water after use. Do not machine wash or dry. Handwash in cold water. Do not clean with Bleach. Do not use wire hangers when drying. Do not store in direct sunlight or dry in sunlight. Do not iron. This shirt has a lot of care to remember. Between uses, it may be best to have a second shirt on hand just in case it doesn't dry fast enough to be used in a situation where needed after being cleaned. Slipping a wet shirt on even to become wet again quickly can prove a challenge.The fabric of this shirt is smooth and feels soft against the skin. The shirt does not cling tightly to the body allowing for breathability of the skin.I got the medium for my 7-year-old son. A medium is an 8-10 size but it fits him just fine without being too long on the arm or in the torso area. i would say if your child is between sizes it may be best to size up.The color is bright and bold in white, dark blue, and light blue. I can always spot my right away. The text on the shirt hasn't cracked or become worn looking in any way. Time will tell in the longevity of the top but so far it's holding up.I'm sure this top will be worn a lot during the Summer. It's a great solution to having to apply sunscreen often after being in and out of the water. Aside from being used in the water, this top works well with just protecting from the sun too.This is a reasonably priced quality top and does as advertised.

I used to dive a lot back in the day and I’m familiar with the brand. This brings back memories.The colour and construction is top notch. I have no complaints and looks classy for a kid rash guard.The only issue? The fit. My boy is 7 years old and this size medium built for 10-12 years old is just right. It will definitely be too tight for the recommended age unless you have a body builder child that want to show off the muscles and abs. Otherwise I would size up.

This is a really nice quality swim shirt. I am a bit jealous that things like this didnt exist when I was a kid. I would get slathered with sunblock in the morning and inevitably turn into a lobster by the end of the day at the beach of pool because I hated putting block back on. Now my kids just get to wear a nice sunblocking shirt.Quality on this is excellent. It is well made, nice and light (and thus good even on a warm day at the beach), and provides plenty of coverage.

This is a very nice swim shirt - bright, and not too loose nor tight. My son is almost 9 and wears a size 8-10 and the shirt fit him great. After washing on gentle and hung dry, the colors held up well. I like the way the sleeves are looser than some swim shirts, freeing up arms and shoulders for swimming. My son wore this for the first time to the Wisconsin Dells, swimming for hours a day, and did not complain about rubbing, chafing or any other discomfort.

For us in Florida, it is important that the kids are protected form the sun. I like this rash guard because it does that. Because it is long sleeve it really reduces their exposure to the sun. It also reduces the amount of sunscreen they need, which is great.I was overall happy with this rash guard. It fit fine. It does have a big logo but that is obvious from the picture. The color is nice. It worked well.
