The Adventures Of Sherlock Holmes, And Other Stories Paperback

The media could not be loaded. Its packaging was good. The book itself is pretty interesting and built quality is extremely good. It is a must for book reader and collecters.

Quality wise book is great feels solid, bound is also of good quality(i ordered it for 961rs in this price its a steal) , leatherbound (not real leather), pages are of good quality (tint of yellowish in color not white),on the sides you got gold gilding (like barnes & nobles classics books) , deducted one star for its poorly packaging (even for a prime member), because its not real leather it got bent and faded from two corners due to rough traveling ,not happy about it (atleast send them in some cardboard shell type boxes).

The media could not be loaded. The book is a collectible, but it'd have been great if it had the case files which I ordered separately. Only reason I cancelled the Wordsworth edition was because of paper quality and for any book 1400 pages thick, a hardcover along with quality paper becomes indispensable else its likely to start coming off in a few years time. It was with these aspects considered, I decided the Canterbury version. However on the one that I received, I found the gilding to be inconsistently done(see pic) or wearing off. Another bummer was I was under the impression this had at least a few Sidney Paget illustrations. Unfortunately it has none. Just a few illustrations on the front pages sets this apart from the Barnes and noble edition. So I guess this sits in the middle between the cheaper illustrated Wordsworth, but with thin paper and small fonts, and B&N lacking illustration but as good in looks as this Canterbury version but complete and more expensive.This book also might have been returned before since it doesn't have a fresh smell to it which would also explain the faded gilding due to improper handling. Mulling if I should return it.Edit 02/11/2022:Heaps of disappointment on receiving yet another damaged replacement due to poor packing and handling(see images tagged "replacement"). Im buying a new book. I will NOT accept damaged items esp due to callous packing. Not even a scratch! Final return & refund process initiated.

Quality-wise the book is excellent, but it's missing The Case-Book of Sherlock Holmes, which was a disappointment.

I can’t believe I went so many years before I started reading Sherlock Holmes. I really missed out. The stories will not only greatly entertain you but also will increase your intellect as they’re very cerebral and the thought of the stories is very advanced. You will learn tons of new vocabulary and expressions and also better learn how to think critically. This book is beautiful and seems well made.

…and a joy forever. The perfect classic book.

Great looking book and a reasonable price

Great collection. Leather hardcover and golden trim on the pages look really good.
