Hair Cutting Cape - Barber & Salon Cape with Hair Catcher

When cutting my husband's hair, the little itchy "hairlets" end up everywhere. This handy little gadget makes him look completely goofy, as though he is popping out of a cake with silver icing! BUT... it catches all the clippings. The fit around the neck is adjustable using the sewn-in velcro.You'll love it.

I have bought three of these things and no matter how I try to care for it, it always loses its shape.

Ok so the first time I used this cape, my neck fit just fine. And I was like, "why were there so many reviews complaining about not being able to close the velcro??" But the second time I used it, I was having trouble getting the velcro to close!That's when I realized what I was doing wrong.If you look at the cape when nobody is wearing it, and connect the two velcro pieces, you'll see two holes. The big hole is where your neck should go. The small hole only there so when the velcro is disconnected, you have one giant hole for your head to go in. But people were putting their heads in the small hole and trying to close the velcro! (There's at least one image in the customer reviews that shows this)Not really the reviewers' fault. It's kind of a bad UX. But once you figure this out, you'll see that neck size is a non-issue.

I have cut my hair and my husband's hair for years. It is always a big mess to clean up. However, with this cape, cleanup is a breeze, and no more hair falling all over his clothes...no more floor messes. It does exactly what it is supposed to. Now if I can figure out how to use it on my dogs and I will be a very happy camper.

The concept is good, and the photograph in the item's description shows a very feasible item, but the one that arrives is very different from that shown.This shield is made of a very flimsy, crispy fabric, and doesn't drape well. The neckline is extremely small for an adult-sized neck. But most annoying is the fact that - unlike the item in the picture - the shield that arrives has NO raised edge to catch the hair. You might as well just cut the person's hair without a shield and allow it to simply fall to the floor, as it will with this silly, edgeless canopy.

It is a decent value for occasional use. The neck is certainly tight and better for a child or thin adult. I use it once every 3-4 weeks to give my husband a buzz cut. Yes it catches the hair. I do take care not to handle it roughly as it is flimsy. I’ve used it 3 times and so far so good.

Don't care for it gets all bent up and loose fit. Sorry guys

This is great! Started cutting hubbies hair at the beginning of Covid and hated cutting hair in the garage (to keep the house clean).Bought this baby and wow! It catches the hair and I’m back to cutting indoors. I just take it outside give it a shake and fold it up. Stores compactly in the closet. It fits nice around the neck and keeps hair off shirts. Definitely worth the price.
