funny memoir of the scrapes and bruises of childhood
A funny memoir of sibling rivalry and collaboration from a childhood that, for all the injuries incurred along the way, was only really marred by neuroses produced by internalized parental disapproval (a common story). A reminder to all of us to lighten up and appreciate the messy pleasures of everyday life, to appreciate what we have before it recedes into the rear-view mirror.

Great book
I love this book it's so good. I am so glad I got it. I did buy it on kindle the only problem is on my kindle. it won't let me read it. I can only read it on my phone. Otherwise I'm hoping for a part 2!

absolutely adored this book
I loved this book. The art reminded me of the old Archie and Jughead which was perfect for this story. I am the good older sister and this book made me go ummmh at some of the insecurity reasons that my sister has always wanted to hurt me. Did she resent me being older and getting things first? Did she resent me getting my license and a car first and the freedom that comes with that, even though I drove her everywhere? Psychology says that a sibling will lash out if they believe they are not loved as much, and I know my sister felt this way and with absolutely no basis for it, except she only remembered items to spur that feeling. I highly recommend this book. You won't be able to put it down, and the ending is fabulous. Boy did Charise have a good brother, and I want to pat Daniel on the back for it and to Charise for learning. Kudos to both of you.

Fantastic read for my 10 y.o. daughter
My daughter loved this book! She really connected to the main character. She was so excited to read about a heroine that also has trouble being the good guy when it comes to her siblings.

I really love this artist!
Such a wonderful book. No wonder the critics all seem to love it. Great jobs by both the author and illustrator. Perfect book for kids who loved REAL FRIENDS or GUTS.

An okay read
It’s hard being the good sister when you’ve been replaced by the new baby. Of course, it wasn’t always about being the big sister. At first, it was all about how she was the protector of the cat. In fact, sometimes it was a little too much about the cat. But soon we start to pick on the little brother and that’s how she gets to become a bad sister. The doodles were cute and colorful, but some of the text was a little blurry and hard to read.An okay read.
