A great tank of a knife
This is the largest pocket knife in my knife collection and I love everything about it. The G10 scales are perfectly scalloped in all the right positions and provide good traction on the hand. The PVD coating is uniform and slick. The blade is perfectly centered. The ceramic ball bearings allow for very quick and smooth flipping out the blade. The liner lock is 100% engaged onto the blade when opened. When the blade is closed the ball detent holds the blade closed very securely and strongly that no matter how hard I tried to shake the blade out the blade stayed closed. There is no way for the blade to accidentally open itself in your pocket or collapse on you when opened under normal use. But if you are still worry the knife comes with a screw pin that you can insert just below the pivot to lock the knife in either fully opened or closed position. I find the knife a little too big and heavy to EDC but not super difficult if you want to EDC it. I consider it more of a novelty item and a conversation piece. It is a good looking knife you want hold and play with it. It is overbuilt and will do heavy duty work if situation arises. This all blackout D2 with G10 scale version is only $55 and their S35VN with titanium scale version is $180. I am loving this blackout version and the money I saved can add more knives to my collection. To sum it up: it is good looking, it is a tank of a knife, it is smooth and slick, it is sharp (phone book paper slicing sharp), it has a unique blade shape, it all blackout stealthy. it has maximum cool factor, and last but not least it is affordable. Highly recommended.

I love it is an understatement
The media could not be loaded. Yes It’s big and it’s a little heavy, but it still fits in your pocket surprisingly comfortable to carry. The retention on the clip is solid despite its size. It does take up a lot of room in your pocket, but it is so much fun It is worth it. I wouldn’t want to go jogging with this in shorts but just for normal every day stuff it doesn’t bother me at all, and I’m not a big guy, you get used to it quick. It arrived pretty sharp, not super razor shaving sharp, but plenty sharp enough. The tip is almost needle sharp. Mine locks up really nice and tight right in the middle. No blade play at all. Not even a little. Blade is perfectly centered and the action is decent out of the box for as heavy as the blade is.You can shake the blade pretty well and it doesn’t come out. No real worries about this one opening up accidentally on me... It’s a tank.I absolutely love love love this knife. This knife is just ridiculously fun to look at, to hold, flick open with that loud click, and cut things with. I’ve only used it on cardboard and packaging stuff like that so far but it’s holding its edge like new. It’s overkill, I feel like It can go right through a car door easily, and it probably can, but it does what it’s designed to do and every day tasks exceedingly well. There’s not much this one can’t do. I’m gonna carry it for a few months and I’ll probably upgrade to the premium version. It’s just too much fun not to take with me. Mine came with the screw and lanyard, and the screw fits in perfect and easily no issues like other reviews had.

Big Solid Folding Knife
This is a solidly built and sturdy knife. I like the way this fits in my hand and it's a folder. Definitely has some extra weight and will show you that in your pocket. It came pretty sharp and pointy. It has a good grip. I would like to get another one of a different color. It opens smoothly.

BRAWNY, TOUGH-AS-NAILS KNIFE!
FIRST OF ALL….a tip of the hat and all props to the designer of this knife Dirk Pinkerton. He’s a custom knife designer out of Huntersville, North Carolina.Dirk, you did one killer job on this design and Artisan knives did an equally good job on the production end to properly execute that design AND at a price point virtually anyone can afford. This is a high value blade proposition in my view and I’ve owned a LOT of knives over the years. This bad boy arrived yesterday (12/14/23) very nicely packaged and impressive. I’ve spent more money in the past to get far less of a blade than this one. The thing is heavy, fits the hand well, is built tough as a tank from good materials and has tolerances that are very sweet for a folding knife at this price point. The blade (beefy-boy thick) has solid lockup on deployment (locks in there super-tight when thumbed open) with not even a tiny squiggle of play in it. It also has a nice smooth open and close. The use of D2 steel is a good choice. The blade arrived 98% sharp (in my view) and 20 extra passes by me own hand on a high end knife sharpener brought out the REAL sharpness of the blade. My my my. This bad boy will cut just about anything you’d want to tackle with it. The use of all black including the coating on the blade with just a touch of red up front on the blade pivot point was a great idea. All in all a great (and great looking) hard use, hand-filling knife for all around stuff ya gotta do say on a ranch, farm, in the garage, doin’ back-40-chores, fishin’, huntin’ or various work environments. This thing will outlast me. My grand kids will be using it long after I’m gone. And in a pinch of a pickle in a dark alley some night, you’d have a damn good chance with this blade of fighting your way out to live another day. And it goes without saying the intimidation factor of this product in ANY tense situation - where it might be necessary to deploy said product in such a fashion as prelude to actual combat - pegs 9.5 on a scale of ten.Billy Bob says do it. Buy two. One fer you and one fer sister Sue. Over and out.
