It was exactly what I expected from a plastic connector. It's sturdy enough to snap into a properly sized hole without breaking.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I chose this product because it was what I needed and was available in a timely manner. Once received it was apparent the quality of both the design and materials was lacking. The design of the chassis panel retaining tabs assures you that you cannot achieve a tight fit on thinner panels. It appears the materials used for the actual contacts are not what is specified for a type K thermocouple which most likely accounts for the minor offset in temperature. The wiring attachments are cheaply made and do not support a reliable contact for your thermocouple wiring. You can make this work with patience but for those of you familiar with Type K TC products, this is disappointing and somewhat frustrating. However, the product does work with some limitations..

Unless you need to monitor extreme temperature these are unnecessary
