Ich habe das falsche Produkt bestellt. Eigentlich wollte ich idye poly bestellen für einen Mantel aus 100% Nylon. Da die Ware schon da war, habe ich es einfach ausprobiert. Die Jacke war ursprünglich altrosa. Ganz schwarz ist es nicht, wahrscheinlich hätte ich noch eine Tüte Farbe gebraucht. Aber mit 2 Tüten habe ich den Mantel anthrazit bekommen. Ich bin begeistert. Usé el tinte para un par de camisetas que tenía y han quedado muy bien. Mejor que con otros productos. 100% recomendado.

I have come to the conclusion that dyeing synthetics is a waste of time. I have tried dying natural fabrics, synthetic ones, and blends of the two. I dyed some 100% cotton tank tops (but the stitching was done with synthetics) using a front load washer and setting the wash cycle to be extended: this worked like a charm. The colour was rich and perfectly evenly distributed, and the process wasn't messy. By contrast, I dyed some synthetics using the stove top method, which is recommended for them because the heat is required to get the dye to adhere to synthetics, but this was horrible. You have to constantly stir them for an hour, and if not you'll get very bad creases in the fabric, that are hard to iron out, and the dye doesn't even take well. Moreover, cleaning up after this is also messy. I poured to the dye-water out in the bath tub (not the toilet because that would be even worse to clean out), and I had to scrub the tub with a non-metallic scour pad using baking soda, and later bleach, for 30 - 45 minutes. With the washer method all the dye flushed out with one rinse and spin cycle.

Wer lesen kann ich klar im Vorteil, dieses Produkt von Jacquard iDye ist "for natural fabrics" also natürliche Stoffe wie Seide, Baumwolle, Leinen und Kunstseide, so wie es auf der Verpackung steht.Und diese Stoffe färbt das Produkt wunderbar.Wie ebenfalls auf der Verpackung steht soll zur Färbung von Polyester "iDye Poly" verwendet werden.
