Amazing! Used on soot covered ceiling!

Did not work at all. I have soot on wall from candle burning. Sponge wouldnt even remove a little.

I was able to clean the walls and ceiling of a bedroom where a smoker lived with great results.

The HY-C soot eraser got some of the soot off of my wall, but not all of it. I wished it worked better.

I used this on a fireplace with dry build up. It only absorbed a small amount and did not change the look of the fireplace at all. If you buy this assume that you would only use this to regularly maintain an already very well cleaned surface.

I’ve tried so many different solutions to the smoke smell in this room. I’ve tried scrubbing things off the walls I’ve tried different chemical solutions I’ve tried rubbing alcohol I’ve tried baking soda I’ve tried vinegar. This worked

Works great to remove soot above fireplace. Surprisingly easy to use.

Tried the sponge and very easy to sum up. Doesn't work very well, and for a very little time. Walls were dirty so I thought this was the answer. Nope. It took some grime off, but not alot and over a very little space. Way over priced for what you get. Save your money here.

Bought one of these to clean up soot caused by frequent use of candles in a particular room. Wow, what a buy. One sponge, cut into several pieces, cleaned the whole ceiling and all four walls. The difference was dramatic and really noticeable. One wipe across an area and you could see a clean streak amongst the soot. Have ordered two more.

After rubbing down several tiles with the dry soot sponge, and not seeing any difference 😑. I thought, ok, I read some of the reviews, and there were reviews about it working wet and not dry. So I wet it and it worked. So in one way I'm happy with that, and another way I'm not. It works brilliantly on tiles when wet. But, I'm concerned about using it this way on my wall, because of smearing, and water running down the walls.

Am not happy with the results. Yes it lifted a little soot but without removing paint. Required a lot of work with poor results
