This C-clamp stand for a desktop is the perfect solution to add lighting for Zoom or Live Stream where you have a tight space like a desk against a wall / in a corner. Very lightweight yet still sturdy, clamps down easily to the desk and holds solid in place. The maximum height is 22" so take that into consideration. I have a 27" monitor on a stand in front of this light and at max height the light clears my monitor just fine. The stand has a standard 1/4" mounting screw so it allows you to mount anything else you want like a camera on it. I first purchased the Dazzne D50 two light kit that included 2 tripod stands, a remote, and a carrying case. I needed to mount one of the D50's on my office desktop so I purchased this C-clamp separately to get the best value and lighting flexibility option. Now I can use the D50 lighting anywhere as portable or fixed to my desk. By the way, the Dazzne D50 light panel attached is large (14"x9 1/2"), lightweight, and brighter than you will need. I'm using it at 25%-40% brightness and having the remote included allows you to make adjustments on demand without having to get up and reach behind the panel. The D50 light panel comes with the white diffuser panel already in place for a softer light. Overall this is a great lighting combination that I would highly recommend.

UPDATE:Dazzne support proactively and quickly reached out to me after seeing my earlier problem and offered to rush me a new unit. I received it the next day and tested it out and it worked perfectly. I've updated my review to reflect the excellent customer support and their desire to make it right. Manufacturing errors can happen that sometimes are missed during inspection, so I'm going to mark that up as an anomaly. Thanks Dazzne for your desire to provide a good customer experience.--------------I'm pretty sure this is not a standard experience, but mine broke in the first 5 minutes. The pole broke off from the base clamp. Looks like an error during product assembly. The screw that connects to the base clamp was only connected with one groove of the screw hole and popped out and stripped that first ring with very little pressure. Can't seem to do anything about it but send it back as the bolt is well blocked by the glued in protective cover so i can't adjust it myself.

Does the job. Isn’t as nice as I’d like, but alright for the price. I wish it was more solidly built. It doesn’t extend as far as I’d like either, but added some extensions for my light.

The media could not be loaded.  So after reading others reviews I bought two of these. I am using these for two Newwer 660 LED lights that weigh about 2.5 pounds each. The clamps are study and the pole holds the weight well. I am using these to hold my light setup for my green screen and other video recording. I am working to unclutter around my desk. In the video I know I need cable management but having just set these up last week, I haven't had time. But I like being able to more easily walk around my desk now that the lights are mounted with these to my desk. I will think you will like them.

Great value for a 2-pack. Has adjustable height and 360 degree rotation with an option attachment. Used these to mount my desk speakers to my desk above my monitors for clearer sound.

I had precociously used a ring light floor stand for my photography. I wanted something a little more steady and compact. This stand fits the bill for compactness and value for the buck!

Disappointed that the upper pole clamp is plastic, not metal. The larger metal "L" brackets that should be bent at a 90 degree angle are more like 80 to 85 degrees. That means the round pad does not meet the bottom surface of the table flush when you tighten it. Only an edge meets the bottom surface (Like this \ |---) and it makes the clamp more loose than it should be, as well as potentially marking or gouging the bottom surface as you have to tighten it more. Bought three and one is really bad, the other two not as bad. Nowadays it's not that difficult to bend a piece of metal to 90 degrees, and it's easy to detect the defect. I guess that means poor quality standards. For the price, they could do much better work.

Sturdiness and value for money

Does what it says it does. I only wish that the mount had a swivel or something to adjust the horizontal/vertical orientation. The fact that I can adjust the height though has been great as I've been using this for a projector. It even supports a fair amount of weight which is what I was most worried about. Initially I had a hard time levelling it out but a little "mcguiver-ing" goes a long way.If you're in the market for a simple, easy to use and budget friendly mount, then this one will do the trick.Overall, I am satisfied with this purchase and would recommend it to others.

The clamp on the bottom is adjustable but for some reason it doesn't bolt together. I mean it should and it looks like it does from the photos but the two bolts on the back of the clamp don't thread into the plate that is attached to the light stand, they just fit in oversized holes. I guess you are supposed to just slide it together and when clamped the pressure keeps it together. I just found it very clumsy and returned it. Got a cheaper one that was taller, more sturdy and came with a ball head. My advice is don't buy this one.
