I have and listen to a lot of music im 76 so thousands of LPs and the same for Cds and I play this a lot, love the first two tracks but its all very good,

Pokey, is a great artist and this is a great album!

This recording is not at the level of his formers but still have some nice tunes in it. It's a very enjoyable job

All of Pokey's albums have a timeless quality to the overall sound. They take you back in time with a historical display of how music was in the 20s,30s and beyond with doo wap, jazz, blues, old time country, rag time, island sounds etc. This is one of his strongest qualities in my opinion, is the fact that he can switch styles and play different styles effortlessly throughout an entire album. This is not easy to do for any artist. This album is a bit more upbeat and playful than his last one was (Rockbottom Rhapsody). I think the best songs are "Long For The Heaven I Seek" and "Drink Of You". There are however no songs I would skip on this one. Congrats to Pokey on making another thoughtful, engaging album that entertains the listener.
