I typically like my Hornady reloading equipment as it is normally well thought out and works well. Unfortunately their case gauge only gives you head space min/max. It does not show if the case needs to be trimmed like every other brand of case gauge I have. This might seem like a minor issue, but when I use my case gauge, I want to instantly verify if it is sized to the correct head space as well as confirming if it needs to be trimmed or not. The Hornady case gauge would require me to measure case length to confirm if it needs trimmed, which is another unnecessary step if they had just made the case to show this. For this reason I'm returning it and ordering a brand I have used for my other calibers.
