Very good meat substitute
Great texture, very "meaty"! Mild flavor. Not the cheapest choice, but worth the price.

Great tasting
The first time I ordered, all the cans I received were dented, but I think it was just rough handling. The product is super amazing, it has a nice gentle flavor, I've used it for curry, stir fry. Highly recommend

Vegetarian fake meat
Been eating Companion vegetarian products for decades. Less pieces and more broth these days. The price also balloon. Back in the days used to be a competitive Chinese canned vegetarian product under Mei Lin brand.

Delicious! (but shipping was awful.)
5 stars for the product. It was absolutely delicious stirfried with onions and carrots. I added the gravy after (because my daughter usually likes the other Companion Curry dog version) but this liquid has a kind of sweetness to it that although it complimented this meal I wouldn’t want all the time. She cooked it a different way the next time Sautéed with peppers and onions And it was delicious again. Would definitely recommend. On the other hand seriously like 0 to 1 star for shipping. The pictures included don’t show the dents on every side of the cans. On top of that the labels were very dirty—didn’t know what to make of that…was two seconds away from asking for a refund but it can be so difficult getting things here because we live so far out.

Not tasty at all !
This doesn't resemble duck taste at all, I just tried it but didn't like it at all. You must be desperate to eat it, sorry no more of it for me...

Meh
The cans were really beat up and everybody seems to have that issue but that doesn't really matter I guess since they're still edible in beat up cans. The texture isn't too bad and it really looks like duck when you stir fry it. The taste is a little weird as of my having tried to prepare one can so far. I'm not totally giving up yet on finishing the shipment but I didn't finish eating the first can after preparing it. With this sort of protein the first try not going well isn't necessarily the end. I'm hoping it just means I haven't found the best way to prepare it yet. Having said all this it's way overpriced.
