Pleasingly hefty, and while the convertible option is nice to have, in fidget spinner mode it's kind of boring, as you can't really see much happening. Spinning top mode is where this thing absolutely shines (hard to tell, but it is spinning in the picture.) It almost looks like it's holding perfectly still while spinning on the stand, and after 6 months of regular use it still spins and looks like new and has an extraordinary spin time of around 5 MINUTES!!! I have had several random strangers come up and ask me about it while playing with it in public and all were very impressed with price and performance. I have no idea what kind of bearing is in it, but I did swap it out with a very expensive bearing borrowed from a friend, and the bearing that comes with it actually spins for longer! I did also modify it very slightly by adding some 1" O-rings to the outside of it, as it has grooves on the outside that accommodate them perfectly, and that does help with spinning it up, but also note that the grooves are not very deep, so the O-rings pop off sometimes. All things considered I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good fidget toy that is also very reasonably priced!

This thing is the coolest, fidget spinner and top in one! It spins crazy long too I just got it to go right at 10 minutes just spinning it up by hand!! It comes In a nice carry case too, that happens to be just the right size to add a few other small fidgets I use every day. I was unsure if I would like this but I’m super happy with it!

I hated this thing for the first 3 minutes. I couldn't even get it to spin. The spinning fidget mode is about as boring as watching paint dry - no apparent movement and no sound. So that's a bust and why only 4 stars from me. But once I figured out how to make the top spin, I was hooked. You can rub it quickly on your hand like they say, but for a 9.5 minute spin you have to run it quickly over a longer surface. The arm of a leather couch works great! Due to the design with a bearing and O-rings, it wobbles slightly when it spins. And I have ordered a concave piece of glass because the fidget surface is too concave. For a needless piece of whimsy it is very entertaining!

This is a nice "twist" to your standard top but the bearing quality is a fail. Does not work well as a spinner and as a top, you have to get it on the stand super fast or it slows down quickly. If the bearings were better, this had the potential to be a really fun top. As is, I'm getting about 5 minutes a spin. I guess I can improve upon that if I can get it out of my hand quicker.

For me this spinning top fidget thing was a great choice. It has a premium feel. It spins on average 7:50 minutes. I was going to shoot a video for my review but it spins so smoothly the video didn't look any better than the photo I shot. Also the top is quiet so it doesn't drive my wife and coworkers crazy hearing my fidget toys clicking and clanking all day. Highly recommend.

K...I usually don't do reviews, however, because of the quality of this item, I've been driven to do one. First the 3-5 minute spin time is spot on. I get it to consistently spin for 5+ minutes using the "base". 3 minutes or so just letting it spin on a table. On a toy gyroscope base...9+ minutes!!! The build it excellent. As a matter of fact, with the build quality, I'm surprised it's not more. Totally worth the $16.99 I paid for it especially with other more curvy tops being 2-3 time the price and only spinning for 1/3 the time. One of the best, if not the best desk top toy/fidget item I own. Next experiment...is to try to use a high speed rotary tool to spin it up and find out how long it will last. Hopefully I don't loose a finger....

While the demos/pictures make it appear as though it's shielded bearings, there's only a bearing shield (which isn't a good one) on one side, leading to it being easy for bearings to get dirty/damaged. Spin time is considerably shorter than expected, and it's hard to get the top up to higher speed. Overall for it's price, I'd say there's better tops out there. The carrying case (clearly a generic one, think headphone cases), is a nice touch for it not getting lost and storage.
