We own a cairn terrier and this breed is very strong and does like to pull. I do like the fact the latches which are plastic have a lock. One of our terriers broke free from a plastic latch so this is a good feature. I have checked her for rashes and the padding seems to be enough to keep her healthy. She weighs about 14 lbs so I looked at other reviews first and got small since it does run big. I do still keep her neck collar on her and can be hooked up to both when we go for walks. I have also used this collar to hook her up to her car seat seat belt to keep her safe in our car rides.
